A total of 10 games are being played this Monday in the NBA. The action tips off in Detroit, where the Pistons entertain the Oklahoma City live at 7pm ET on NBATV.

You can read our same-game parlay for that game below, but also check out our predictions on the side and total for the rest of Monday’s 10-game slate.

Let’s get started!

Under 188.5 total points (alt. total) (+480)

Jerami Grant over 22.5 points (-112)

Parlay odds: +1445

Under 188.5 total points (alt. total) (+480)

Detroit averages only 98 points per game, a number that holds steady whether the Pistons are at home or on the road. Playing a team such as Oklahoma City could drive that number up but that group struggles to score too. Oklahoma City averages only 93.7 per game on the road this season and in their last 3 they have scored 92.7 per game. That epic loss by the Thunder the other day (152-79 to the Grizzlies) was a combination of offensive and defensive ineptitude. Detroit has seen a lot of smaller numbers this season but that hasn’t stopped them from playing more unders than overs for the season. Even if this is an easy win it might be something like 95-82. It would be very surprising if either team has an outlier game in the scoring column on Monday.

Jerami Grant over 22.5 points (-112)

I see Jerami Grant as the only player capable of having a decent scoring night in this game. Both teams have so many young players in their lineups that Grant, at 27, might very well be one of the oldest on the court tonight. In his last 10 games he’s averaging 21.5 points per game and he’s coming off a 34-point night against the Phoenix Suns, one of the better defensive teams in the NBA. In 2 of his last 3 games he has scored 30 points or more and against a Thunder team that ranks only 21st in defensive rating this season he should have a solid night. In his previous meeting against OKC he had 21 points, which gives us confidence he’ll be able to surpass 22 points.
