The second of the day’s nationally televised games will see a couple of the most surprising teams of the season collide. The Eastern Conference-leading Chicago Bulls have lost their last 3 games and will face a tough challenge against the Memphis Grizzlies. Their Western Conference foes have just seen their longest winning streak of the season ended, but they will be keen to keep the pressure on the Utah Jazz, who are currently in 3rd in the standings.

Under 223 (-110)
Chicago has relied way too much on 3-point shooting this season, but they lead the NBA in efficiency from the perimeter. However, Zach LaVine is a big part of that and without him I don’t think they’ll have a big scoring night. The under has cashed 4 times in the last 5 meetings, and Memphis can win it by keeping the Bulls under their season average.
DeMar DeRozan over 6.5 assists (+116)
With LaVine out of the lineup for the Chicago Bulls, the Grizzlies will be able to focus their attention on DeMar DeRozan. Considering that he is currently 8th in the league in points per game, it is likely that they will look to force him to give up the ball and have someone else on the Bulls try to beat them. That should bode well for DeRozan to rack up assists. He has been passing the ball well, managing 7 or more assists in 5 of his last 6 games. With the Grizzlies just 22nd in the league in opponent assists per game and Lonzo Ball also out for the Bulls, expect DeRozan to be the one setting the table for his teammates.
Jaren Jackson Jr. over 5.5 rebounds (-110)
Nikola Vucevic is undoubtedly a handful in the paint but the responsibility of guarding him should fall to Steven Adams. With the floor-stretching ability that the Bulls center possess, it could pull the Grizzlies’ center out to the perimeter, leaving a void in the paint for someone to step in and collect defensive rebounds. Jaren Jackson Jr. is the one who is likely to benefit the most. He has been rebounding the ball well, with 6 or more boards in 5 of his last 6 games, which includes a couple of games with 11 and 12 rebounds respectively. With him likely matching up against Alfonzo McKinnie, who is shooting at a 25% clip from deep this month, he should be free to drop back. And with his size advantage, there is potential for a couple of offensive boards too.

DeMar DeRozan under 0.5 made threes (-136)
Not only has DeRozan not been shooting the ball well from deep, but he has also hardly been attempting them. He has made just 2 3-pointers in his last 10 games. On top of that, he has not attempted a shot from beyond the arc in any of his last 4 contests. I do not expect to see a major change tonight. Most of his 3-point attempts have come in catch-and-shoot situations. However, with the injuries that the Bulls are dealing with, it is hard to see the Bulls star spending a lot of time off the ball. Looking at his recent attempts alone; this line is terrific value.
