The new week in the NBA starts off with a modest 5 games, with the game of the night being played in Chicago where the Bulls host the best team in the NBA right now, the Phoenix Suns.
Tip-off is at 8:00 pm ET and I’ve prepared a same game parlay which you can find below. Be sure to also check our predictions on the side and total for the rest of Monday’s 5-game slate, but without wasting any more time let’s get into the Suns vs Bulls matchup!
Phoenix Suns 1-10 win margin (+165)
Chris Paul to score 20+ points (+196)
Mikal Bridges 2+ made threes (-138)
Parlay odds: +1182
Phoenix Suns 1-10 win margin (+165)
The Suns are on a 3-game win streak against the Bulls and those 3 games were decided by 5, 9 and 8 points. If we expand our search to the last 6 games head-to-head, 5 of them were decided by less than 10 points. Phoenix has been on a really good run lately, they bounced back from their surprise defeat at Atlanta with a 15-point win at Washington, while the Bulls are coming off a home loss to Philadelphia yesterday despite getting 45 points from DeMar DeRozan. They are currently without Alex Caruso, Lonzo Ball, Patrick Williams and Derrick Jones Jr. due to injuries, while Zach LaVine and Coby White are both questionable.
The Suns have covered the spread in 5 of their last 7 visits to United Center, they are also 9-1 SU in the last 10 on the road. I’m expecting them to win a close game against the shorthanded Bulls here.

Chris Paul to score 20+ points (+196)
Paul is averaging 19.4 points per game over his last 10 contests while shooting 54% from the field, 37% from three-point land and 80% from the charity stripe. In 5 of his last 7 games, he has scored at least 20 points and he has also gone double-digit in the assists department in as many games. Chicago is very thin in the backcourt right now due to injuries, so Paul won’t have to deal with Zach LaVine or Alex Caruso on defense which should make his life a lot easier.
In Paul’s last 4 games against the Bulls, he has averaged 20.5 points per game. With Chicago allowing 118.4 points per game over their last 5 contests, I think Paul will get to his 20 points fairly easily in this one.
Mikal Bridges 2+ made threes (-138)
Bridges has scored at least 2 threes in his last 2 games, and in 4 of the last 5 he has played in. Over his last 10 games, he is shooting 31.4% from three-point land, but on the road that number jumps up to 36.2%. He should once again be a threat in this one, mainly because the Bulls defense has struggled with containing opponents around the perimeter lately. For the season Chicago allows 36.7% shooting from beyond the arc, and in their last 3 games that percentage has gone up to 43.7%. Last night against Philadelphia, they allowed the Sixers to shoot 50% and make 12 of them with 4 of their starters making at least 2 shots. Bridges will surely know how to capitalize on this.
