The NBA is officially back in full swing after the all-star break. And what better way to celebrate the start of a new week than by going for a big payday on Monday? That’s right; we’re back with another mega parlay, NBA edition.
We’re going big and bold again, so let’s not waste any more time. But before we dive in, don’t forget to check out our free picks on the side and total for every NBA game today.
Indiana Pacers ML (-102)
Toronto Raptors -3 (-110)
San Antonio Spurs ML (+300)
Parlay odds: +1425
Let’s break down each of the legs one by one.
Indiana Pacers ML (-102) over Orlando Magic
To start this mega parlay off, I’ve got the Pacers on the money line. That’s not quite as bold as it sounds, since they’re playing the Magic. Indiana has also won two of three, and the one loss in that span came in overtime. Their other most recent loss was a close game on the road against an elite Bucks team. The Pacers are coming off a 21-point win over the Celtics, who had previously been surging.
Malcolm Brogdon just returned to the lineup two games ago, and this team is completely different with him out there. Brogdon, recent acquisitions Tyrese Haliburton and Buddy Hield, and Oshae Brissett all dropped at least 20 in the win over Boston. Orlando has been arguably the worst team in the league this season, and pretty much any time they’re a favorite is a good time to fade them. Their records might not be drastically different, but the Pacers have just gotten unlucky. The point differentials say it all. Indiana is at -2.2 for the year, while Orlando is at -8.3.
Toronto Raptors -3 (-110) over Brooklyn Nets
Give me the Raptors for the next leg of our parlay. The Nets might have Kyrie Irving, Kevin Durant and Ben Simmons all on the floor together before too long, but they won’t have any of them here. And we’ve seen how that’s gone for them recently. Brooklyn has lost 11 of their last 14 games, and playing at home is a huge disadvantage for them right now. In their last two home games without Irving, they lost to Boston by 23 and to Washington by 14.
They aren’t going to be able to rely on Seth Curry and Andre Drummond to carry them against a Raptors team that is much better than most people realize. Brooklyn’s only recent impressive win came against the Bucks, and they only won that game because Irving dropped 38. Without him, there just isn’t enough offensive upside. Toronto has stumbled a bit over the past week, but they’re still 9-4 in their last 13 overall.
San Antonio Spurs ML (+300) over Memphis Grizzlies
To wrap us up and give us the odds boost to truly make this a mega parlay, we’ve got the Spurs. San Antonio has looked pretty solid of late, going 4-2 in their last six games. The two losses in that span? They were close ones on the road against Miami and Chicago. You can’t really hold those against them. And they almost beat the Heat without Dejounte Murray, who will fortunately return here.
Perhaps most importantly, the Grizzlies certainly haven’t looked unbeatable recently. Memphis has lost two of three, and it took a herculean 46-point effort from Ja Morant for them to get the one win. A few games ago they lost to a terrible Trail Blazers team despite Morant chipping in 44 on efficient shooting. None of the guys around him have done much of anything over the past several games. Gregg Popovich can tie the NBA record for regular-season wins here with a win, and I think he’s got a very good shot to do it.
