The NBA is approaching the home stretch and we’ve got an interesting slate on Monday with 9 games to pore over. And what better way to celebrate than by going for a big payday? That’s right; we’re back with another mega parlay, NBA edition.
We’re going big and bold again, so let’s not waste any more time. But before we dive in, don’t forget to check out our free picks on the side and total for every NBA game today.
New Orleans Pelicans ML (+205)
Cleveland Cavaliers -5.5 (-110)
Utah Jazz -1.5 (-110)
Parlay odds: +1011
Let’s break down each of the legs one by one.
New Orleans Pelicans ML (+205) over Charlotte Hornets
To start this mega parlay off we’ve got the Pelicans on the money line. Getting better than 2/1 with New Orleans against a middling Hornets team is just too good to pass up. The Pels have won three of four, with the only loss in that span coming to the Suns. CJ McCollum has been balling for his new team, averaging over 26 points per game since getting traded from Portland. The Hornets have been up and down all season, and are pretty volatile.
They do have a high ceiling but also have a very low floor, which makes them a prime team to target for a money line upset. On any given night they could hang with a championship contender or lose to a bottom-feeder. The Pels are coming off a road win over the Hawks, and in their game before that they beat the Spurs by 34 on the road.
Cleveland Cavaliers -5.5 (-110) over Los Angeles Lakers
The Cavs have come through for us in parlay after parlay this season, and I’m going back to them here. This is a very reasonable price to fade the Lakers at. There was some brief optimism in Los Angeles after their rare road win over the Raptors a few nights ago, and they promptly followed that up with a loss to the lowly Wizards. The Lakers have won just one road game since January 25th, while Cleveland is starting to find their groove again after some injury-induced struggles.
Evan Mobley is blossoming into a star before our eyes, and Darius Garland already is one. When you throw in the fact that Lauri Markkanen has stepped up big time recently, this Cavs team becomes hard to beat. Caris LeVert is fresh back from his injury, and Garland is now 100 percent again after a long time dealing with back issues. They are young, fast, and hungry. Everything this Lakers team isn’t.
Utah Jazz -1.5 (-110) over Brooklyn Nets
To wrap up this mega parlay and hopefully bring us home, we have the Jazz. This game is being played in Brooklyn, which means Kyrie Irving won’t be playing. In their most recent game, the Nets barely managed to squeak past a tanking Portland team. Utah is 15-5 in its last 20 contests, and plenty of those wins have been impressive ones. They are currently riding a three-game winning streak, with each of those victories coming by at least 15 points.
The defense has given up only 93 and 92 points in their last two games. And Donovan Mitchell is scorching hot right now. Over his past two games, Mitchell has scored 73 points while shooting 16-for-27 from downtown. The Jazz endured a rough stretch a couple months ago, and most people in the national media stopped talking about them as a result. But they have got the second-best point differential in the NBA for a reason.
