Like most Lithuanians, I started watching basketball from the age of six. I'm based out in London and played basketball at the University of Lincoln here in the UK. I had always had an interest in the NBA but things really took off in the summer of 2010. That year Linas Kleiza led Lithuania to 3rd place at the World Championships and signed with the Toronto Raptors to replace the departing Chris Bosh. I've been a Raptors fan since that day and I've not missed a game since. I've been handicapping games for more than a decade, specializing in player props. The Minnesota Timberwolves are starting to feel the impact of not having Karl-Anthony Towns in their lineup. They have dropped 2 straight games and now find themselves 1.5 games behind the Oklahoma City Thunder for the top seed in the Western Conference. They now have a threat behind them, too, with the Los Angeles Clippers being just 2 games behind. They will be motivated to close that gap tonight.

You can check out all of our NBA picks for today’s games, but for now, let’s jump into my Timberwolves vs Clippers Same Game Parlay.

Ivica Zubac over 8.5 rebounds (-106)

Rudy Gobert over 15.5 points (-106)

Anthony Edwards 3+ made threes (-120)

NBA parlay odds: +528

Ivica Zubac over 8.5 rebounds (-106)

Ivica Zubac should have a large role to play in tonight’s game. Rudy Gobert will be a problem for the Clippers on the glass. He is averaging 15.8 boards per game this month — ranking 3rd over the last 10 games in offensive rebounds per game, too. Zubac leads the Clippers in rebounds per game, averaging 9.2 on the season. He has also hit the over on this line in 2 of his last 4 games. With the last game between the sides being a very low-scoring encounter, with neither team reaching the 90-point mark. That should mean there are plenty of misses for him to chase down tonight. With Gobert not offering much in terms of floor spacing, he will likely be in prime position to grab rebounds.

Rudy Gobert over 15.5 points (-106)

With Karl-Anthony Towns going down injured, more of the scoring burden has fallen on Gobert. He has been delivering of late, scoring at least 16 points in 3 of his last 5 games. A lot of the defensive attention tonight will fall on Anthony Edwards, which should allow Gobert to operate as an outlet when Edwards gets doubled team. The Clippers may also turn to hacking Gobert to make him earn his points at the free-throw line. However, the Frenchman is making 75% of his attempts this month — knocking down 12 of his last 14 overall. It should help him pad his points line tonight. He has already had a game against the Clippers this season with 14 free-throw attempts. On current form, that should set him up perfectly to hit this over.

Anthony Edwards 3+ made threes (-120)

In his last 2 efforts against the Clippers this season, Edwards has been letting it fly from deep. In those games he managed 10 and 11 3-point attempts, respectively. Considering he is making 36.9% of his triples this season, a similar number of attempts would make him favorite to hit this over. The Clippers have struggled defending the 3-point line of late, too. Over the last 10 games they are 24th in the NBA in opponent 3-point percentage. Teams are shooting at a 38% clip against them during that stretch. With Gobert being one of the best screen setters in the league, he should be able to help create enough space for Edwards to get his shots off.
