Thursday brings us the final 3 NBA games before the all-star break and my focus is on the Milwaukee Bucks vs Memphis Grizzlies game, tipping off at 8.30 pm ET on TNT. I’ve pieced together a couple of player props to create a Bucks vs Grizzlies Same Game Parlay as we look for our 3rd SGP win in 4 days. You can also check out our NBA picks for each of tonight’s matchups.
Malik Beasley to score 15+ points (+210)
Luke Kennard to score 15+ points (+145)
Same Game Parlay odds: +525
Malik Beasley to score 15+ points (+210)
Malik Beasley’s impact on the Bucks has often been overlooked this season, but with the absence of Khris Middleton, the importance of his role has drastically increased. He’s averaging 14.5 points per game in his last 6 outings, and if it wasn’t for a poor performance in the loss to Minnesota where he scored just 3 points, that average would be a lot higher. He’s cleared this line in 4 of those 6 games and with a high chance of the Bucks blowing out the Grizzlies here, there’s a chance role players such as him get to play more minutes than they usually would.
Beasley has connected on at least 3 threes in 6 of the 7 games played in February while shooting 45% from downtown. It’s no secret that the Grizzlies have been all over the place this season, especially defensively with all the players moving in and out of the lineup due to injuries. Opponents are averaging 39.2% of makes from the perimeter against them in the last 3 games, which ranks in the bottom 7 of the NBA during that stretch. I’m expecting Beasley to have yet another productive game here and at +210 odds for him to score 15+ points, we are getting a really solid price.
Luke Kennard to score 15+ points (+145)
Aside from Jaren Jackson Jr. and an ageing Derrick Rose, Luke Kennard might be the most experienced player that Grizzlies head coach Taylor Jenkins has at his disposal right now. The 27-year-old sharpshooter is coming off a stellar performance in last night’s win over the Rockets, where he scored 19 points on 66.7% shooting from three-point land. Over his last 10 games, he’s at an impressive 51.4% efficiency on those shots, resulting in an average of 11.2 points per game scored.
Kennard has also had some really solid performances against the Bucks in his career. He’s averaging 17 points and 4 assists per game over the last 4 meetings, while clearing this line in 3 of those 4 games. He’s also made 5 threes in 2 of those games and at least 3 in 3 of them. For a team that’s been hit the hardest by the injury bug this year and desperately looking for productive players, a solid contribution from the veteran Kennard would be of great help here. Milwaukee hasn’t exactly been the best team defensively and we just saw the Miami Heat shoot 47.5% against them from downtown in their last game. Let’s hope Kennard can knock down a few shots here en route to a 15-point performance.
