Grant Williams 3+ made threes (+260)
Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown will get their numbers, but the Celtics will need much more than that in order to eliminate this Miami Heat team. Marcus Smart is banged up, so I’m not sure how much we can expect from him on the offensive end, so Grant Williams seems to be the most logical third option on offense in an elimination game. So far in the series he’s made at least 1 three-pointer in all 5 games and he also had 2 games with 2 threes made. He is shooting it at an impressive 49% from downtown and that performance against Milwaukee in Game 7 is still fresh in our minds.
He led the team in scoring with 27 points while making 7 of 18 three-point attempts. That was the second time in that series he has scored at least 3 threes in a game. In the first round against the Nets he also had 4 threes in Game 4 which helped push the Celtics into the Conference semifinals. This guy just loves playing in big games and it doesn’t get bigger than tonight, so I think there’s a really solid chance he has a huge offensive game.

Under 96.5 Heat total points (-115)
The last 2 games played in this series by the Miami are arguably the worst offensive performances in back-to-back conference finals games in NBA history. No Tyler Herro and a banged-up Jimmy Butler and Kyle Lowry has hit this team hard and with their season on the line they’ll have to improve dramatically in order to stand a chance. Is that possible? I am not so sure. Butler is clearly bothered by his knee injury, over the past 3 games he has combined to score just 27 points total after opening the series with 70 points in the first 2 games.
Herro’s status is still up in the air for tonight’s game, while Lowry is most likely going to start off the bench behind Gabe Vincent if he plays at all. Bam Adebayo seems to be the only reliable scoring option they have at the moment, but even he has had just 1 solid game in this series when he dropped 31 points in Game 3. This Celtics defense is currently 2nd in the NBA Playoffs holding teams to just 100.7 points per game, Miami will have a hard time getting to 100 points, so betting them to finish under 97 is a solid bet.
