The red-hot Milwaukee Bucks entertain Kawhi Leonard and the Los Angeles Clippers tonight as the teams meet in their first of 2 matchups this season. To add a little more sizzle to this clash, I’ve created a Clippers vs Bucks Same Game Parlay to hopefully start the new week with a bang. We also have NBA picks for tonight’s biggest matchups.
Bucks ML (-200)
Terance Mann to score 10+ points (+150)
Malik Beasley over 2.5 made threes (-132)
Same Game Parlay odds: +486
Milwaukee Bucks ML over Los Angeles Clippers (-200)
The transformation of the Bucks since the all-star break has been quite remarkable. They’ve held their last 4 opponents to under 100 points and are a perfect 5-0 SU/ATS in their last 5 games. Giannis Antetokounmpo just had a monster game against Chicago, dropping 46 points and grabbing 16 rebounds, and this team is just on a different level right now. Standing in their way are the Clippers, who will be playing their 2nd game in two nights following a tough battle against the Timberwolves — the best team in the West.
Russell Westbrook is out with a broken hand and with us being 60 games into the regular season, there is a solid chance head coach Ty Lue decides to rest a couple of big-name players here in order to avoid any potential injury risks. That all should help the Bucks here. But even if Kawhi, PG13 and James Harden all play, I still think Milwaukee has this one in the bag. They’re the 2nd-best defensive efficiency team in the last 10 games and have beaten the Clippers 7 times in the last 9 meetings, including 4 in the last 5 at Fiserv Forum.
Terance Mann to score 10+ points (+150)
Together with Norman Powell, Terrance Mann has given the Clippers a much-needed boost as a rotation player this season. This being the 2nd night of a back-to-back, there is a chance head coach Ty Lue rests 1 or even 2 of his star players, which could open things up for Mann in the scoring department. He has played well lately, averaging exactly 10 points over his last 10 games, and in his last 5 that number is up to 14.2 per game with him clearing this line 4 times. The injury to Russell Westbrook is also a factor, as the Clippers will now be forced to find other options to fill the void. Mann is averaging 11.2 points per game in his last 5 against the Bucks and should be able to clear this line here.
All eyes on our expert’s best NBA player prop bets of the day — he’s 37-27 this season!
Malik Beasley over 2.5 made threes (-132)
Beasley is coming off his best shooting month of the season from three-point land as he wrapped up February averaging 3.9 threes made per game. He did it by knocking down 46.5% of his attempts and that percentage would be even higher if it wasn’t for that fluke 0-for-9 effort in the loss to Minnesota. Since then, he has recovered well and has cleared this line in 7 of 9 games, so I’m confident he can do some damage in tonight’s game as well. Realistically, opposing defenses normally focus on slowing down Giannis and Dame, so I’m counting on Beasley getting quite a few open looks here. He has drained multiple threes in 3 of his last 5 games against the Clippers in limited minutes. If he continues averaging 30 minutes and 8.4 shot attempts like he did in February then I believe he’ll knock down at least 3 threes here.
