We have ourselves a 12-game night in the NBA this evening and a NBA TV double-header. It all starts with the Memphis Grizzlies taking on the Atlanta Hawks at 7.30 pm ET and I have prepared a same game parlay which you can see below.

We also have predictions on the side and total for all 12 games this Friday, so be sure to go through those.

For now let’s dive into the Grizzlies vs Hawks clash!

Ja Morant to score 40+ points (+1100)

Clint Capela Over 10.5 rebounds (-128)

Parlay odds: +2504

Ja Morant to score 40+ points (+1100)

It has been a while since Morant scored 40 points — some 3 weeks ago. But with the crazy scoring going on in the NBA these past couple of weeks, tonight could be the night he lights up the Hawks. Just 2 games ago against the Knicks he finished with 37 points and over his last 9 games he is averaging 31.2 ppg. The former Murray State standout is at 48.6% from the field during that stretch and also connecting on almost 40% of his threes. He suffered an injury against Atlanta earlier in the season after just 9 minutes of play and knowing the mentality of Morant that game has definitely been stuck in his head and he will want to make amends here. I’m expecting a high-scoring game overall, and if that’s the case then Morant will fill up the stat sheet.

Clint Capela Over 10.5 rebounds (-128)

Capela is 3rd in the NBA in rebounding, averaging 12 per game, and although that is slightly down to 11.2 per game over his last 10 games I’m still expecting him to clean the glass on Friday because matches up well against Steven Adams. Memphis ranks 12th in the NBA in opponent rebounds per game this season, giving up 52 of them a night. However, over the Grizzlies’ last 3 games that number has increased to 60.7 per game. With tonight’s contest expected to be played at a fast tempo, that will naturally mean more attacking possessions for each side and more rebounds for everyone involved. Capela is the centerpiece of the Hawks’ defense, so anyone wanting to claim an offensive rebound here will have to go through him first. Hopefully he can collect at least 11 boards; he has done it in 3 of the past 4 games.
