The NBA is approaching the home stretch and we have a solid slate on Friday with a bunch of interesting games to pore over. And what better way to celebrate than by going for a big payday? That’s right; we’re back with another mega parlay, NBA edition. I wrote this mega parlay last Friday, and I cashed it at +1158. Now let’s make it two Fridays in a row!
We’re going big and bold again, so let’s not waste any more time. But before we dive in, don’t forget to check out our free picks on the side and total for every NBA game today.
Houston Rockets ML (+750)
Cleveland Cavaliers +7.5 (-110)
Parlay odds: +1522
Let’s break down each of the legs one by one.
Houston Rockets ML (+750) over Toronto Raptors
To start this mega parlay off, we’re going bold. Give me the Rockets on the money line. For starters, Houston has a big rest advantage here. The Rockets were off on Thursday, while this is the second half of a back-to-back and the third game in four nights for the Raptors. Toronto is also pretty well assured of the fifth seed at this point. They would need to lose both of their two final games and the Bulls would need to win both of their last two for them to fall to sixth. I’m not saying they’re going to be slacking off, but they’ve got to be feeling pretty good in the back of their heads.
After playing a tough game that went down to the wire against the 76ers on Thursday, I don’t expect them to be fully locked in here. They should be exhausted, and if there were ever a spot for them to get caught sleeping it would be here. And the Rockets haven’t been as bad as you might think recently. Four of their past five losses have been by seven points or fewer. The only one that wasn’t was on the road against the Nets, and they still covered the spread in that game.

Cleveland Cavaliers +7.5 (-110) over Brooklyn Nets
To wrap this mega parlay up we’ve got the Cavs on the spread. Cleveland has struggled a bit down the stretch as they’ve dealt with a ton of injuries, but this spread still feels way too high. Most of their recent losses have been by extremely close margins. Just a few nights ago they only lost to Philly by four in a game where they got robbed by the refs in the closing seconds, and that was with Moses Brown starting at center against Joel Embiid. Fortunately, it looks like Evan Mobley is going to make his return to the lineup here. The importance of Mobley’s presence on both ends of the floor can’t be overstated right now. It’s going to be a huge boost, and the Cavs should at the very least keep this one close.
The Nets are just getting too much respect from oddsmakers because of Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving. They just don’t look like a great team right now. Brooklyn managed to beat the Knicks and Rockets in their two most recent games, but right before that, they’d lost three of four. The one win in that span came against the Pistons in a really close game. For the most part, any time they’ve played a playoff team recently they’ve struggled.
