We are continuing the NBA week with a huge 12-game schedule, headlined by a double bill on NBA TV that begins with the Grizzlies visiting the Hawks before the Suns host the Bulls. The Mavericks, 76ers, Nets, Heat, Clippers, and Jazz are in action as well. With the first round of the NCAA Tournament also taking place, we have an embarrassment of basketball riches on our hands.

Let’s take a look at today’s three-team mega parlay.

Mavericks ML (+130)

Nets -16.5 alternate spread (+118)

Pelicans ML (+135)

Parlay odds: +1078

For this parlay we are going with two underdogs straight up and one favorite against an alternate spread. Let’s break down each of the three legs one by one.

Mavericks ML over 76ers (+130)

At 26-8, the Mavericks own the second-best record in the NBA since 2022 started and they are on a 3-game win streak following a 113-111 victory over Brooklyn earlier this week. Luka Doncic delivered another masterful performance with 37 points, but Spencer Dinwiddie stole the show with another game-winning 3-pointer – his second in a row after doing the same at Boston’s expense last weekend. The Mavericks are 6th in defensive efficiency and their last 5 opponents have averaged just 102.6 points per game. They have covered the spread in 13 of their last 17 games and are 6-2 ATS in their last 8 against Philadelphia. The big news coming from Philly is that Joel Embiid’s back is causing him problems. He is listed as questionable. Dallas has a good chance of remaining on a roll and winning outright.

Nets -16.5 alternate spread over Trail Blazers (+118)

The rebuilding Trail Blazers just might be the worst team in the association. They are 6-16 in their last 22 games and losing by massive margins. Seven of their last nine contests have resulted in losses by at least 14 points. Portland just fell by 30 at New York on Wednesday – and New York sure isn’t Brooklyn. Even with Kyrie Irving sidelined since this is a home game for the Nets, they still should be able to hand the Blazers another ridiculous loss. The spread is -14.5, but even a -16.5 number has every reason to be safe. Heck, the Nets could win this one by 20… or 30… or even 50. It really could get out of control. Locked in an important battle for playoff (and more specifically play-in) positioning, Brooklyn won’t take this game for granted despite the opposition.

Pelicans ML (+135)

New Orleans and San Antonio are separated by only 1.5 games in the Western Conference standings as both teams attempt to secure the final play-in tournament position as the No. 10 seed. Ahead of this evening’s tip, both clubs are already sure to be undermanned. The Pelicans have ruled out Brandon Ingram, while Devonte’ Graham is listed as questionable. The Spurs will be without Keita Bates-Diop, Romeo Langford, and Doug McDermott. San Antonio has been far from elite since the break, winning only 4 of 11 contests while being outscored by 4.4 points per 100 possessions. Victories over the Wizards, Lakers, short-handed Jazz, and Thunder are hardly worth bragging about. The Pels have good value.
