After 2 consecutive wins in the series, the Golden State Warriors find themselves in a position to win another NBA title, but in their way stand the Boston Celtics and an electrifying TD Garden crowd. Tip-off for Game 6 is at 9:00 pm ET on ABC and I’ve prepared another same game parlay.
In Game 5 we were 4 Marcus Smart assists short of landing our bet, so hopefully it comes back to us in this one!
Let’s dive in.
Boston Celtics 1-10 win margin (+175)
Klay Thompson to score 20+ points (+265)
Jayson Tatum to score 35+ points (+390)
Parlay odds: +1837
Boston Celtics 1-10 win margin (+175)
Monday’s loss marked the first time in these NBA Playoffs that the Celtics were beaten in back-to-back games which ended a streak of 7 wins in a row following a loss. They’ve struggled offensively, scoring just 97 and 94 points over those 2 games, so I’m thinking we’ll see a slightly different approach to Thursday’s game. They’ve already scored 120 and 116 points in this series, so they are capable of filling it up when the team gets going. Playing in front of the home crowd facing elimination should do them well. This team has shown resilience through the entire postseason, in the last 2 rounds they faced elimination 3 times and prevailed in all 3 scenarios. I’m expecting a close outcome in Game 6, but ultimately the Celtics should have enough to push this to a Game 7 back in the Bay.

Klay Thompson to score 20+ points (+265)
Game 6 Klay is definitely a thing and with him averaging 21.3 points per game over his last 3 outings in this series, the odds are on his side to score 20 points once again here — especially if Stephen Curry struggles to shoot the ball like he did on Monday.
Thompson has now made at least 4 threes in 3 straight games and with the emergence of Andrew Wiggins on offense, combined with the Celtics focusing on stopping Stephen Curry, I wouldn’t be shocked if Klay erupted in Thursday’s game. He had 32 on the road in a potential close-out Game 4 of the Denver series, he had 30 in Game 6 when the Dubs eliminated Memphis and he also had 32 in the Game 5 elimination of Dallas. Despite him no longer being the Klay of old, he still delivers in big moments and this will by far be the biggest one of the Warriors’ postseason so far.

Jayson Tatum to score 35+ points (+390)
We’ve been waiting on Jayson Tatum to show up for quite some time in these Finals now and I think Game 6 is finally when it happens. After struggling with his shot for the first 4 games of the series, he finished Game 5 with 27 points on 50% shooting from the field while making 5 of 9 threes. He has now scored 20+ points in 4 consecutive games and we all still remember the Game 6 performance against the Milwaukee Bucks where he dropped 46 and saved the Celtics from elimination.
In Game 6 of the Miami series he had 30 points and with the season on the line he has to step his game up here. I’m expecting him to attack the basket a lot more, after averaging 8.1 free throws per game vs Miami his attempts are down to just 6.4 in this series. Look for Tatum to assert himself early in this one and if he makes a few shots in the opening quarter we could be in for one of his signature games.
After a +1000 winner in Game 5, don’t miss our first basket best bet!
