The Golden State Warriors find themselves down 2-1 to the Boston Celtics as we approach Game 4 at TD Garden. Tip-off is at 9:00 pm ET on ABC, and we have a same game parlay for this matchup. I was just 2 Andrew Wiggins points and 1 Jayson Tatum three from landing my bet in Game 3, so hopefully a bit more luck on our side in Friday’s game.

Golden State Warriors 1-10 win margin (+220)

Marcus Smart to score 20+ points (+265)

Golden State Warriors 1-10 win margin (+220)

The Warriors simply cannot afford to go down 3-1 in this series. Only one team in NBA Finals history has come back from that deficit to win the title and that was the Cavs back in 2016 against Golden State. The biggest issue the Warriors are facing right now is scoring in the paint. After averaging 44.8, 48.7 and 49.2 points per game in the first 3 series, during the finals they are scoring just 30.7 points per game. Furthermore, they are yet to out-rebound the Celtics in any of the 3 games played. Can all that be fixed in time for Game 4? I believe so. This team has gone through so much and has probably the most depth out of any team in the NBA, so I think we’ll see some major adjustments made in Friday’s game.

Draymond Green also played poorly on Wednesday, so don’t be surprised if he gets at least double-digit points and possibly even a double-double. What’s also encouraging for the road team is the fact that Klay Thompson came to life with 25 points and 5 threes made. All in all, I am expecting a closer game on Friday, with the Warriors ultimately having enough to get the series tied up before going back home for Game 5.

Marcus Smart to score 20+ points (+265)

Smart has scored over 20 points in 2 of his last 4 games and is coming off a spectacular 24 point performance in the Game 3 win. If it wasn’t for just the 2 points scored in Game 2, his average would be a lot higher than the 14.7 points per game after 3 games played. Even though Stephen Curry is scoring a lot in this series, the defensive player of the year can be proud of his effort on defense, as he’s forcing Curry into some difficult shots.

What is also encouraging for Smart is that his 3-point shot is also falling consistently. He’s drained at least 3 triples in 3 of his last 4 games. Jayson Tatum struggling with his efficiency has directly impacted Smart on offense, as he got 17 shot attempts up in Wednesday’s game. If Tatum isn’t able to turn things around, Smart will get a ton more opportunities to fill up the stat sheet. Curry is too small to stay in front of Smart, plus he is way more concentrated on scoring the ball as opposed to containing Smart on defense. Look for the Celtics point guard to take advantage of that once again in Game 4.
