Super Bowl Sunday means that we have only 2 NBA games today. ABC will have the Boston Celtics and Miami Heat squaring off at 2:00 pm ET. I have prepared a Same Game Parlay to make things a little bit more interesting. Continue reading below to see the bet.

Let’s dive into my SGP bet now!
Heat ML (+200)
Jimmy Butler Over 19.5 points (-111)
Kristaps Porzingis 1+ made threes (-650)
Same Game Parlay odds: +419
Miami Heat ML (+200)
I’m hoping the Heat can do a Golden State and avoid getting swept by the Celtics. The Warriors were able to pull off the upset last night after losing the first 3 regular-season meetings vs the Suns; the Heat are in a similar spot having lost the 2 games to the Celtics this year by 8 and 33 points. Miami has been in good form entering today’s game; it is 4-1 ATS/SU in its last 5 games, while in the last 11 meetings with the Celtics it has covered the spread 8 times.
Boston is on a 3-game winning streak and currently top of the East, but it has not been as convincing lately covering the spread just once in its last 7 games. We just saw the Celtics beat the Wizards by just 4 points at home despite being double-digit favorites. Beating the same team 3 games in a row will be tough; a regular-season sweep between the 2 teams last happened in the 2016-17 season, I think the Heat pull it off tonight and avoid the brooms.
Jimmy Butler Over 19.5 points (-111)
Playing Boston is always a challenge and we all know the bigger the game, the bigger Jimmy Butler plays. He is averaging 22.9 points, 7.6 rebounds and 5.3 assists per game in the last 10 meetings. I have him crossing the 20 point mark as he guides Miami to a home victory. He has done so in 6 of his last 7 games while averaging 24.3 points per game and shooting over 50% from the field in 5 of those games. Butler’s three-point shooting has also been consistent during this stretch, he has hit multiple threes 4 times and has hit at least one in every single game. After finishing with a triple-double in the win over San Antonio, it’s time for him to concentrate more on scoring — that’s the main thing the Heat were lacking in those 2 games against Boston earlier in the year.
Kristaps Porzingis 1+ made threes (-650)
The Porzingis vs Adebayo matchup is always fun to watch, primarily due to the difference in styles the 2 centers play. KP is a modern day stretch 5 and is no stranger to stepping outside the perimeter and knocking down threes. He has been cooking over his last 7 games, averaging almost 44% makes from distance. During this stretch he’s scoring 25.1 points per game and has gone over 25 in 3 straight games. Against Miami he’s at 50% shooting from three-point land in the 2 meetings this season, which makes me very optimistic he can make a three in today’s game. He is currently on a 3-game streak of at least 2 threes made, and on a 10-game streak of at least one three made. Miami’s defense of the perimeter in home games has been poor all season; opponents are making 37.4% of attempts from distance at the Kaseya Center. Look for Porzingis and company to take advantage.
