We have put together a 4-pick cross-sport parlay that will take you right through Monday, including picks from the NFL, College Basketball, NHL, and NBA. One pick is taken from each sport and a winning ticket would give us a very nice payout with odds of +1102 at DraftKings Sportsbook.
College Basketball pick today: La Salle Explorers +15 over Villanova Wildcats (-110), 6:30 pm ET
Villanova could be firing on all cylinders later in the year, but it’s likely we see some early-season struggles. The reason for this is they will be without Justin Moore for a large chunk of the year as he works his way back from injury.
From a matchup perspective, given that this is opening night, we must speculate the styles in which Kyle Neptune and Fran Dunphy will play this year. We can assume Neptune will play a similar style to his predecessor Jay Wright, which revolves around position-less basketball and shooting threes. Last year, his Fordham team ranked 62nd in three-point attempt rate, and we should only expect that to go up with a more talented roster. Two potentially key players in this matchup for La Salle are the Drame twins, who transferred from Saint Peter’s. They look to be quick enough defensively to guard on the perimeter, therefore backing the Explorers to keep this one relatively close will be the play tonight.

NBA pick today: Detroit Pistons +1 over Oklahoma City Thunder (-110), 7:40 pm ET
Detroit is just 2-8 but as a favorite they are 1-0 SU/ATS this season. That is not a lot of data to work from but it is something. Other than Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, the Pistons should win all of the other matchups. For that reason, backing the Pistons to win and cover will be the play.

NHL pick today: Edmonton Oilers ML over Washington Capitals (-145), 8:00 pm ET
The Capitals have allowed 3 or fewer goals in 6 straight games. That’s pretty good goal-prevention. Unfortunately for Washington, they won only 1 of those games as they are scoring fewer than 3 goals per game. That is not going to get it done against this Oilers team whose success is driven by offensive production. Edmonton can produce at a pace that Washington just can’t keep up with right now. For that reason, backing the Oilers will be the play tonight.

NFL pick today: New Orleans Saints +1.5 over Baltimore Ravens (-105), 8:15 pm ET
The Saints should be able to continue to move the ball, and since Andy Dalton took over in Week 4, they rank 3rd best in the NFL in offensive success rate. They have scored at least 24 points in each of his 5 starts on offense and are averaging 33.6 points per game during this stretch. They should have success on this Ravens defense that is 27th in EPA allowed and bottom 10 in both run and pass efficiency.
The Ravens are missing Rashod Bateman and Mark Andrews, which are huge blows to an already struggling pass offense. And let’s not ignore the tremendous noise that the Ravens will be dealing with at the Superdome in primetime. That always is an advantage for the home defense, so backing the Saints to cover will be the play tonight.
