EPL pick today: Leicester City ML vs Nottingham Forest (-140), 3:00 pm ET
The last 2 teams in the EPL standings face off in an East Midlands derby this afternoon and Leicester could be celebrating a first Premier League win of the season. The Foxes suffered a 6-2 defeat at Tottenham just before the international break but their performance was much better than the scoreline suggested. This is another occasion on which the higher standards of the Premier League could really hit home for Nottingham Forest. For that reason, backing Leicester looks to be the best option this afternoon.

MLB pick today: Minnesota Twins vs Chicago White Sox – Over 7 runs (-120), 8:10 pm ET
Neither team has a consistent starter on the mound, while they also have key hitters missing in the lineup. However, there are still enough great hitters available to take advantage of Johnny Cueto and Bailey Ober.
On top of that, Cueto nearly allowed this entire total to the Twins when he faced them less than a week ago. That game ended with 12 total runs and tonight may see double digits as well, making the over worth a play.

NFL pick today: San Francisco 49ers -1.5 over Los Angeles Rams (-110), 8:15 pm ET
San Francisco has covered in the last 5 meetings with the Rams when also including the playoffs. The Niners offense, mainly Jimmy Garoppolo, struggled against a really good Broncos defense last Sunday night but at home but they should find more success against an overrated Rams defense. The Rams secondary continues to be ravaged by injury. Therefore, no matter who the Rams end up throwing out there tonight, the Niners and Kyle Shanahan should find major holes, making them worth a play.

MLB pick today: Detroit Tigers vs Seattle Mariners – Over 7 runs (-110), 9:40 pm ET
This is too low of a total with Bryan Garcia on the mound. He has been in Triple-A for the majority of the season and has allowed 10 runs in his last 3 outings in the minors. He has not shown the ability to perform well against either Minor League or Major League hitters yet.
The Mariners were blown out in their series finale against the Athletics, and against a Triple-A pitcher on tonight, the Mariners should avenge their Sunday loss in a big way. The Tigers have also been scoring a few runs themselves as they’ve scored at least 4 runs in 7 of their last 10 games, so this total looks too low.
