You could add a juice reducer if you’d like, but I like this Cubs/Padres NRSI straight up. We are likely to avoid at-bats from Fernando Tatis Jr., Manny Machado and Luis Arraez for the Padres, as well as Ian Happ and Kyle Tucker for the Cubs.
These teams have 2 solid lineups, but this is a really nice pitching duel. Shota Imanaga is on the mound for Chicago and San Diego is 6-42 lifetime against him. I expect him to continue on an already impressive start to this season. Pitching for San Diego is Randy Vasquez. This man has Chicago bats hitting 5-33 against him and he has only allowed 3 runs all year in 3 starts. Neither team has over a .150 batting average against the opposing pitcher and this game has the lowest total on the slate. Give me 6 easy outs in the 2nd inning on Tuesday night to hopefully cash an easy NRSI. Forget the YRFI and NRFI, the 2nd inning is the one to focus on!
