The 2021 MLB season kicked off almost three weeks ago, and the action has been jam-packed. Why not celebrate hump day by going for a nice payday on Wednesday? That’s right, we’re back with another MLB mega parlay, this time a three-teamer with a payout north of 15/1, where we’re counting on Oakland to extend their winning streak to 11 games.

We’re going big and bold, so let’s not waste any more time. We’re diving in, but don’t forget to check out our picks for the side and total on every MLB game, with our team of experts in red-hot form to start the season.

Oakland Athletics -1.5 (+182)

Washington Nationals -1.5 (+120)

Atlanta Braves -1.5 (+158)

Parlay odds: +1501

Let’s break down each of the three legs one by one.

Oakland Athletics -1.5 (+182)

People ridiculously panicked when the A’s started 0-6, but they sure look foolish now. Oakland only started so abysmally because they faced the Dodgers and Astros in their first two series’, and they’ve been on fire ever since. They’ve now won ten games in a row. Frankie Montas will start here, and his 4.91 ERA doesn’t tell the full story. He got rocked in his first start of 2021, but it’s now clear that was just rust. He’s been dominant in his last two outings, giving up only one run across 12 innings. Oakland’s bullpen has also been fantastic. Minnesota on the other hand is in free fall, having lost eight of their past nine games. Twins starter Kenta Maeda has been getting lucky, and his whopping 1.70 WHIP shows he’s due for some regression soon.

Washington Nationals -1.5 (+120)

I think the Nationals are better than most people realize, and there’s value on them as a result. Especially when Max Scherzer is on the mound. Washington got off to a rough start due to COVID postponing the beginning of their season, but they’ve been a lot better lately. Maybe not quite as hot as Oakland, but still better. They also have a huge edge on the mound in this one. Scherzer has already shown in three 2021 starts that he’s still one of the best pitchers in the game. Over his last two outings he’s given up only one run in 13 innings, and one of those games was against an elite Dodgers lineup. Carlos Martinez will start for St. Louis, and he’s picked up right where he left off after an awful 2020. He has a 7.80 ERA through three starts, and got tagged for six earned runs in his most recent one.

Atlanta Braves -1.5 (+158)

I don’t think the Braves should be underdogs here. Atlanta starter Ian Anderson has been up and down, but the 22-year-old was brilliant in limited action last year. The Yankees have been a massive disappointment, and even after their win Tuesday have still lost five of six. I’m not ready to declare them back just because they won the series opener while scoring three runs. They haven’t scored more than four runs in any of their past seven games. They’ll start Corey Kluber here, who has a 6.10 ERA through three starts and has yet to make it past the fourth inning. Kluber had only pitched in eight games since 2018 before coming to the Yankees, so I’m not surprised he’s struggling. The Braves scored 13 runs in their last game prior to this series, so I’m not worried about the offense.
