The 2021 MLB season kicked off almost three months ago, and the action has been jam-packed. Why not celebrate the middle of a new week and go for a big payday on Wednesday? That’s right; we’re back with another MLB mega parlay, this time a three-teamer with a payout north of 11/1, and we’re counting on the Padres to win big.
We’ve cashed four MLB parlays in the last six days, as well as our MLB same game parlay at +1025 odds on Sunday night. Let’s keep that hot streak going on Wednesday night!
We’re going big and bold, so let’s not waste any more time. We’re diving in, but don’t forget to check out our picks for the side and total on every MLB game, with our team of experts in red-hot form.
Los Angeles Angels -1.5 (+185)
San Diego Padres -1.5 (-115)
Chicago White Sox -1.5 (+145)
Parlay odds: +1199
Let’s break down each of the three legs one by one.
Los Angeles Angels -1.5 (+185)
The Angels lost on Tuesday, but their offense still produced — the Yankees’ just woke up. New York should go right back to sleep on Wednesday. The Angels will have Shohei Ohtani on the mound here, and he always gives the team a boost of energy. In four June starts, Ohtani has an ERA of 2.35. Los Angeles has scored at least five runs in three straight games, and that should be enough to cover this -1.5 with Ohtani pitching.
Yankees starter Domingo German has been incredibly shaky recently, with a 7.04 ERA in five outings this month. He hasn’t made it past 4 and 1/3 innings in any of his past three tries. Considering New York’s lineup has been pretty mediocre recently, I don’t understand why they’re somewhat significant favorites here. The Angels will roll.

San Diego Padres -1.5 (-115)
The Padres are on fire at the moment. They underachieved for a while, but have since broken out in a big way by winning 10 of their last 11. They’ve been scoring at least five runs on a pretty consistent basis, which bodes well for their run line chances with Joe Musgrove on the mound here. Musgrove has been a revelation for the Padres, and he’s been one of the best pitchers in the majors. He enters with a 2.22 ERA and 0.84 WHIP.
He just pitched against this same Reds team a couple of weeks ago, and tossed seven scoreless innings. Cincinnati is just 4-8 in their last 12, and they’ll start rookie Vladimir Gutierrez here. He has a 3.97 ERA through his first six big league starts, but his 1.32 WHIP indicates that’s a bit lucky. He also pitched against the Padres a couple of weeks ago, and gave up five earned runs and 12 baserunners in five innings.

Chicago White Sox -1.5 (+145)
To wrap this mega parlay up and hopefully bring us home, we’ve got the White Sox. Chicago has won two in a row, scoring seven runs both times. If they get seven again where they should easily cover the -1.5 with Dylan Cease pitching. I’m a believer in Cease, and outside of a few bad starts, he’s been really solid this year. The White Sox are 9-3 the last 12 times he’s taken the hill.
The Twins on the other hand will start rookie Bailey Ober, who has a 4.64 ERA in five starts. Asking him to go on the road against a tough lineup for his sixth career start is a tough task. More than likely he’ll struggle, like he did when he faced the White Sox in his MLB debut. He gave up four earned runs in four innings in that start.
