There are seven MLB games starting before 5pm ET today but we can’t forget about the night games. One in particular is the Atlanta Braves taking on the New York Yankees at Yankee Stadium. ESPN will be bringing it straight to our living rooms so it feels like a great game to bet. As with any day, this one is great for a parlay and since FanDuel lets us do same game parlays, we need to take advantage.

Corey Kluber under 5.5 strikeouts (-134)
There was a time when we would love a Corey Kluber strikeout prop at 5.5 but those days are long gone. The 35-year old is only throwing his 4-seamer 89.9 mph this season which has been problematic. Back in 2015 when he was a king, he was throwing it at 93 mph so the drop-off has been steep. He has not made it more than four innings in any of his three starts this season so 6 strikeouts tonight against the Braves is a tall order. We may not see to many more 5.5s by Kluber’s name after tonight.
Braves vs Yankees Over 8.5 (-118)
Betting the weather is a dangerous proposition but it’s hard to ignore the winds are blowing out to center field at 22 mph tonight. The Braves are set up to absolutely shell Kluber and the Yankees look like they may be good for a couple against Ian Anderson. Anderson has given up 8 earned runs in only 15.1 innings and even though the Yankees don’t have the lefties take full advantage, they have enough. This game should see some runs.
Atlanta Braves ML (+114)
This is a full fade of Corey Kluber as he has lost his last two starts. Both of those games saw at least nine runs as well. While Anderson has not been particularly sharp, the Braves have won his last two starts. He is a guy who needs some run support but he should get it tonight. This correlates nicely with the over 8.5 as well as the Kluber strikeout prop and we’re getting a nice price at +114.
Freddie Freeman to hit a Homerun (+290)
It’s tough to bet a guy to hit a home run but it’s not that crazy here. First of all, there will be big time wind working in our favor. Second, Kluber just gave up two home runs in his last outing and he only went four innings. Freeman has shown a stroke early this season as he has already hit five dingers. This feels like a good spot as Kluber is a prime candidate to give up one tonight.
