Following an eventful Tuesday on the diamond, the MLB action doesn’t slow down with a full 15-game slate on the docket today. With every team in action, there is plenty to attack and craft an MLB parlay. Let’s dive into today’s MLB parlay picks, as games get underway at 1:10 pm ET with the Royals taking on the Twins and conclude with the Braves taking on the Giants at 9:45 pm ET.  You can also check out all of our MLB picks for the action on Wednesday, August 14.

Dodgers vs Brewers Over 9 (-105)

Cubs vs Guardians Over 8.5 (-110)

Yankees vs White Sox Over 9.5 (-105)

MLB parlay odds: +628

For this MLB parlay, I am going with a bet on a trio of overs, from Milwaukee to Cleveland to Chicago. Let’s break down each of the 3 legs.

Los Angeles Dodgers vs Milwaukee Brewers Over 9 (-105)

To start it off, I’m going with the over between the Los Angeles Dodgers and Milwaukee Brewers. With the return of Mookie Betts, the Dodgers batting order has taken a noticeable leap forward, and things appear to have stabilized. The Brewers haven’t had the same level of success, but we do have an exploitable spot with these starting pitchers in this matchup.

Walker Buehler will get the ball for the Dodgers, and I’d be surprised if they get 5 innings and fewer than 4 runs out of him given his track record this season. Frankie Montas toes the rubber for the home team on the other side, and he’s only managed to toss 5 innings once over his last 4 starts, while allowing at least 3 runs in his previous 5 outings. The Dodgers now have Betts, Shohei Ohtani and Freddie Freeman in the lineup, and their offense is starting to look formidable once again. I think both starters will continue to struggle, and this game could turn into a shootout by the middle innings.

Chicago Cubs vs Cleveland Guardians Over 8.5 (-110)

For the second leg of this parlay, I’m going with the over between the Chicago Cubs and Cleveland Guardians. At one point, this Guardians team was the highest-scoring offense in baseball, but Cleveland has really struggled at the plate since the all-star break. What Cleveland does have is an elite pitching staff and bullpen, but I do not love the pitching situation for either team in this matchup on Wednesday.

Alex Cobb did not look sharp in his season debut last week, as he gave up 4 runs in a limited outing. Cobb is 36 years old, coming back from injury, and will face a lineup that should see success against the right-hander. Jameson Taillon will get the ball for the Cubs, and he is a fly-ball pitcher who does not typically miss a lot of bats. Cleveland should put plenty of balls in play, which will surely lead to some runs scored off Taillon. We’re in a great spot to fade both starters, so let’s back the over in this interleague matchup.

New York Yankees vs Chicago White Sox Over 9.5 (-105)

To close out this MLB parlay, I’m going with another over between the New York Yankees and Chicago White Sox. While New York has one of the most potent lineups in baseball by any metric, the White Sox showed they can still pack an offensive punch by putting up 12 runs in the series opener. Chicago is the worst team in the majors, but the variance of the White Sox performances at the plate makes them dangerous in this one, especially since they’ve long been eliminated from playoff contention and could play with nothing to lose against a World Series contender.

On the mound, both teams are sending out relatively inexperienced starters that I expect to struggle. Will Warren hasn’t panned out for New York in his first two MLB starts, posting an 11.18 ERA and a near 50% hard-hit rate. On the other side, White Sox pitcher Davis Martin has been serviceable in limited work, but he’s also prone to control issues, surrendering 7 walks in just 12.1 innings pitched this season. With question marks surrounding both pitching staffs, runs could come early and often in this matchup between teams trending in opposite directions. Given the offensive firepower on display and uncertain pitching situation, I’ll be targeting the over in Chicago on Wednesday.
