We are continuing the first full week of the 2022 Major League Baseball season’s proverbial second half with a 14-game slate on Wednesday. As is usually the case on hump day, there are plenty of afternoon specials on the schedule – this time nine, to be exact. The Yankees-Mets subway series headlines the action at 7:00 pm ET on ESPN, while the Mets’ National League East rivals Atlanta and Philadelphia are getting the day started with a 12:35 pm ET showdown.
It’s time to take a look at the three components of Wednesday’s mega parlay.
Guardians ML (+115)
Orioles ML (+105)
Reds -1.5 (+125)
Parlay odds: +892
For this parlay we are going with one favorite on the run line and two underdogs on the money line. Let’s break down each of the three legs one by one.

Cleveland Guardians ML over Boston Red Sox (+115)
The Red Sox finally snapped their losing streak with a win on Monday night against the Guardians. It was a rough start to the second half of the season for Boston, as the team was outscored 41-13 prior to Tuesday night. For the third game of the series, the Red Sox will send Nathan Eovaldi to the hill and he was rocked in his last start against the Blue Jays. In just 2.2 innings he surrendered 9 runs on 8 hits and Toronto ended up scoring 28 runs in what was a massacre at Fenway Park. In his start before that, Eovaldi allowed 3 runs on 6 hits in 4.1 innings to the Yankees, which was his first outing since early June.
Cal Quantrill will get the nod on Wednesday night for his second start of the season against the Red Sox. In the first one he allowed 2 runs on 5 hits in 5.0 innings against a Red Sox offense that had Trevor Story and Rafael Devers. Neither of them will be in the lineup on Wednesday night.

Baltimore Orioles ML over Tampa Bay Rays (+105)
The Orioles went on a 10-game winning streak prior to the all-star break and are still in the hunt for the American League wild-card. Although the Rays are battling with the Blue Jays for 2nd in the division, they are still only a few games above the O’s in that wild-card race. Not only has Baltimore already upset them in this series, but it also did so just prior to the all-star break. The Orioles are also a team much more comfortable in Camden Yards, as they have a top-10 record when playing at home. The situation is quite the opposite for the Rays, as they are approaching bottom-10 status when playing outside of Tampa.
The absence of Wander Franco has also been felt by Tampa Bay. The Rays scored just 5 combined runs this past Saturday and Sunday and lost their series to the lowly Royals. With Tampa Bay having used ace Shane McClanahan on Tuesday, the Orioles can grab another win.

Cincinnati Reds -1.5 over Miami Marlins (+125)
After upsetting the Cardinals and winning the first series out of the all-star break, the Reds opened up this series in dominant fashion. For as much as they struggled to begin the season, they have proven to be a much more formidable opponent than most would expect. They displayed that just prior to the all-star break, as well, taking a series from the league-leading Yankees. That series was also on the road in New York, and pitcher Luis Castillo started one of those wins.
With the August 2 deadline looming, this may be his last and best opportunity to put his talent on display. That’s something he’s already been doing, especially of late. The Reds have won each of his last 4 starts. Castillo has pitched 7.0 innings and allowed just 1 run in each of his last 3. Meanwhile, the Marlins’ offense continues to be unreliable with Jazz Chisholm out.
