If they are going to make a run at winning the division or at the very least claiming a wild-card spot, they absolutely have to beat teams like the Rockies. Tampa Bay is 6-3 in its last 9 games while Colorado is 3-8 in its last 11. This one should be all Rays.
The over has been trending for both teams lately. The total has gone over in the Rockies’ last 5 games as well as in 7 out of the Rays’ last 9. The over has also hit in 4 of the past 5 Rays home games. In Colorado’s last 5 matchups, their game totals have averaged a whopping 15 runs. Chicago Cubs -1.5 over Detroit Tigers (+136)
The Cubs have ridden a fantastic month into the second wild-card spot and are just 2.5 games out of the NL Central division lead. They are playing excellent baseball and match up well against a lot of teams right now. They have won 4 of their last 5 games and are 10-4 in their last 14 road games. They are 64-59 against the spread this season including 31-27 on the road. The Cubs are a difficult fade, even at a -1.5 run line.
The Tigers have actually played decent baseball lately but the Cubs have been so hot. Magical runs happen plenty in Major League Baseball and it seems like there is just something going on over there on the North side. They beat the Tigers in the series opener in a game which the Cubs needed just 3 more outs to cover -1.5. The Cubs are a good team playing good baseball at the right time of year. Look for them to come out looking for a convincing win.

Los Angeles Dodgers ML over Cleveland Guardians (-218)
Sure, this is not exactly going out on a limb. But it is a nice compliment to this parlay. If there was any doubt at any point this season that the Dodgers were not going to win the NL West, that doubt is now very far back in the rear-view mirror. The Dodgers are 13-1 in their last 14 games, which has given them to a commanding 12-game division lead. This team is once again finding a way to peak at the best possible time.
The Dodgers would likely be the favorite against every team in baseball save for one or two. But it especially does not look great for the Guardians who have been on a bit of a slide. In August, Cleveland is 6-12 including losses in 4 of their last 5 games. These are teams heading in opposite directions and this one should see the Dodgers take care of business.
