The MLB season rolls on today with another exciting 15-game slate on the docket. With every team in action across the league, there is plenty to attack and craft an MLB parlay. I cashed my last MLB mega parlay last week, so let’s see if I can cash another!
Let’s dive into today’s MLB parlay picks, with games getting underway at 6:40 pm ET as the Cardinals take on the Pirates, while action concludes with the Giants taking on the Dodgers at 10:10 pm ET. You can also check out all of our MLB picks for the action on Tuesday, July 23.
Red Sox -1.5 (+100)
Giants vs Dodgers over 8.5 (-115)
White Sos vs Rangers over 7.5 (-104)
MLB parlay odds: +636
For today’s MLB parlay, I am going with a bet on the White Sox vs Rangers and Giants vs Dodgers games to stay under the total, plus the Red Sox to win by multiple runs. Let’s break down each of the 3 legs.
Boston Red Sox -1.5 over Colorado Rockies (+100)
To start off our MLB parlay, I’m going with the Boston Red Sox on the run line. The Red Sox were probably cursed to begin with on Monday after suffering a difficult loss on Sunday Night Baseball, but I expect them to bounce back on Tuesday at Coors Field. In terms of starting pitching, Boston should have the edge with Cooper Criswell, who’s xERA of 3.68 suggests that positive regression is coming against a mediocre lineup. It’s also notable that Ty Blach — an on-again off-again starter for the Rockies — has been working out of the bullpen lately, so getting a full 5 innings out of him is really unlikely, especially against this Red Sox lineup. This will likely put even more pressure on baseball’s worst bullpen, and one that had to cover a lot of innings in Monday’s victory, so let’s back the Red Sox on Tuesday.

San Francisco Giants vs Los Angeles Dodgers over 8.5 (-115)
For the second leg in our MLB parlay, I’m going with the Giants and Dodgers to clear the total of 8.5 in this NL West clash. Los Angeles is in the midst of a four-game winning streak, while averaging 5.8 runs per game across the past 7 games. The pitching staff hasn’t exactly been killing it either, allowing 4 or more runs in 4 of the past 6 outings. That sets up well for an over in this contest, especially since the Giants offense was stagnant in Monday’s defeat, posting fewer than 3 runs for just the second time in the last 13 games. For Dodgers starter Landon Knack, the over has cashed in each of his past 2 outings, coughing up 7 runs, 10 hits and a couple of walks with 4 homers in 8 2/3 IP across his past 2 outings. Let’s get to the window with the over in Los Angeles on Tuesday.
Chicago White Sox vs Texas Rangers over 7.5 (-104)
To close out this MLB parlay, I’m backing the Chicago White Sox and Texas Rangers to go over the total of 7.5 runs. Jon Gray has been having a tough last month for Texas, allowing 9, 8, 3, and 3 earned runs in 4 of his last 5 starts before the All-Star break. Gray allows a ton of hard contact, and his low whiff rate and high rate of strikes give opponents plenty of chances to do damage. While this White Sox lineup is not overly imposing, but I still don’t have a ton of faith in Gray’s ability to work deep, or his ability to perform when in the game.
On the other side, Garret Crochet will start for the White Sox, but the length of his outing is also in question. Crochet lasted just 4 innings against the Marlins before tossing 2 innings in his final start prior to the All-Star break. With his expected trade coming in the next week or so, it will be interesting to see how the White Sox deploy him in this matchup. While we could very well see a longer leash, I am hesitant to expect that outcome. Therefore, we could see extended work from the White Sox relievers in this one, so I’ll take the over.
