New York Mets -1.5 (-135) over Cincinnati Reds
To start off our mega parlay, we’re going with the Mets on the run line. New York is in desperate need of a win to get back on track following a 3-7 mark over its last 10 games. And while Max Scherzer had a very poor outing in his last start, the veteran right-hander was making his first appearance coming off a suspension — so some rust was to be expected. Scherzer should be able to take advantage of a Reds lineup that is sorely lacking in terms of consistency.
On the other side, the Mets’ lineup should get started on the right foot against Reds starter Luke Weaver — who currently holds a 7.88 ERA on the year. Weaver has allowed at least 4 earned runs in each of his 3 starts in 2023, and our experts expect that to continue against Pete Alonso, Francisco Lindor and company on Tuesday.

Los Angeles Dodgers vs Milwaukee Brewers Over 9 (-115)
For the second leg of this parlay I’m going with the Over 9 runs in the Dodgers vs Brewers matchup in Milwaukee. Both of these teams have struggled with consistency, but I’m expecting a big effort from each lineup in a smash spot. For starters, the Dodgers are coming off the emotional high of a series win over the Padres — one where they got great starting pitching throughout. However, Los Angeles can’t expect that same effort from Noah Syndergaard on Tuesday.
Syndergaard has had a very poor start to his Dodgers career, posting a 6.32 ERA in 6 starts. His numbers show that there could be positive regression looming, but Syndergaard is still a below-average pitcher at this point. I’d expect the Brewers’ offense to be able to generate at least a few runs against the veteran right-hander. On the other side, Brewers starter Eric Lauer has an xERA of 5.84 and is inside the bottom 20 percentile among all starters in xERA, xWOBA, hard-hit rate, xBA, xSLG and average exit velocity this season. The top of the Dodger lineup is coming off a solid series in San Diego and should feast on Lauer. I’ll grab the over at this number.
Houston Astros ML (+120) over Los Angeles Angels
For the final leg in this mega parlay I’m going with the Astros on the money line. We have all seen the jokes on social media at this point, but there’s a clear element of truth to them. The Angels often get outstanding performances from Shohei Ohtani and Mike Trout, only to come up short when the game is said and done. Ohtani has been brilliant all season at the plate and on the mound, and he’ll get the start on Tuesday. The 2-way superstar will be opposed by Framber Valdez, who seems to be in a good place with his stuff — posting a 2.60 ERA and having not allowed more than 3 earned runs in any start this season. In what should be a close, low-scoring game throughout, I trust the Astros to get it done as short underdogs.
