After a quiet Monday around Major League Baseball, we’ve got a loaded 17-game slate on Tuesday. And what better way to celebrate a large slate of games than to create a 3-team mega parlay? This parlay could pay out at over 10/1 odds at DraftKings Sportsbook, so be sure to check this out.
But before we dive in, be sure to check out our MLB picks for every MLB side and total today.
Let’s get into our mega parlay for Tuesday and break down each of the legs one by one.
Minnesota Twins -1.5 (+115) over Kansas City Royals
To start off this mega parlay, we’re going with the Twins on the run line. Minnesota needs to capitalize on playing an inferior team, and Joe Ryan is just the guy on the mound to do it. While the right-hander has struggled in his last 2 starts, those came against difficult AL East foes. When Ryan has faced the AL Central, his results have been largely strong. In his last 3 outings against the division, Ryan has surrendered just 4 runs over 16.0 innings pitched. This includes a start against the Royals, where the Twins starter allowed just 1 earned run. In fact, Ryan is 7-0 against the AL Central this season, which is not something Kansas City starter Kris Bubic can say. Bubic is an abysmal 2-11 in 2022 and was shelled by Minnesota a month ago, allowing 10 hits and 4 runs in that outing. The Royals have lost each of his last 5 starts, and Tuesday should bring that to 6 straight losses.

Miami Marlins -1.5 (+160) over Philadelphia Phillies
For the second leg of our parlay, we’re going with the Marlins on the run line. The Phillies have won 10 of the last 16 meetings between these teams, but Miami will have the decided edge on the mound today. Despite allowing 16 runs in his last 4 outings, Sandy Alcantara is still the Marlins’ best chance at a win. This will be his second straight start against the Phillies, with his last outing against Philadelphia resulted in a Miami victory. That outing came on the road, while the Marlins will be at home this time. He’s helped his team beat the Phillies twice this season, and should be able to get decent run support in this one.
Philadelphia’s lineup has been up-and-down of late, and the Phillies are turning to 2nd-year starter Bailey Falter in this matchup. Falter’s numbers have been middling as he bounces around from the bullpen to a starter role. Furthermore, Alcantara has proved time and again that he needs only a handful of runs to secure a win. The Marlins offense isn’t a juggernaut, but should do just enough to win this one. And at this big plus-money price, I like taking Miami on the run line to get more value.

Baltimore Orioles -1.5 (+110) over Washington Nationals
The final leg of this parlay sees us backing the Orioles on the money line. Baltimore has been fighting for a playoff spot in the AL, but the O’s have fallen on hard times. However, they’ll get relief today as they get to face Cory Abbott. The 2nd-year pitcher was thrust into the Nationals’ starting rotation during the summer, and things have not gone well so far. In 2 months, Abott has yet to record a win while holding an ERA of 4.22. On the other side, Baltimore starter Dean Kremer has quietly been the Orioles’ best pitcher. In fact, he’s surrendered just 6 runs in his last 4 outings. Kremer has looked strong against some of the AL’s best, so a matchup against the Nationals should be a welcome reprieve. Along with their strong bullpen and Kremer on the hill, the O’s can take the first of this 2-game series.
