Baseball is finally back in full swing. The 2021 MLB season officially kicked off last week, and the action has been jam-packed. Why not celebrate the start of the second week by going for a nice payday on Thursday? That’s right, we’re back with another MLB mega parlay, this time a three-teamer with a payout north of 15/1 where we’re counting on the Cardinals to keep on rolling. After cashing our mega parlay Tuesday at nearly 17/1 odds, we’re looking for another success.
We’re going big and bold, so let’s not waste any more time. We’re diving in, but don’t forget to check out our picks for the side and total on every MLB game, with our team of experts in red-hot form to start the season.
Arizona Diamondbacks -1.5 (+145)
St. Louis Cardinals -1.5 (+215)
Chicago White Sox -1.5 (+115)
Parlay odds: +1759
Let’s break down each of the three legs one by one.
Arizona Diamondbacks -1.5 (+145)
The Diamondbacks just got shut out on Wednesday, so now is when we come right back and buy low. They had just scored 10 runs in a victory on Tuesday night, so it’s not like they can’t hit. Jon Gray will start for the Rockies here, and while he was solid in his first start, he also had a 6.69 ERA last year. Right before their win on Wednesday, the Rockies had lost four straight. Merrill Kelly will start for Arizona here, and in his last ten starts he has an ERA well below three. I still don’t think this D-Backs team is as bad as many people are expecting, but the Rockies are for sure.

St. Louis Cardinals -1.5 (+215)
The Cardinals are coming off a sweep of the Marlins where they won the series by a combined score of 15-3, so needless to say they’ve got some momentum. Adam Wainwright had a tough first start of the season against the Reds, but he pitched pretty well in two outings against the Brewers last year. He gave up only five runs in 13 and 2/3 innings. The Brewers have only scored more than four runs once this season, when they plated six back on Opening Day. That kind of low offensive ceiling is exactly what I’m looking for when fading a team on the run line. All four of St. Louis’ wins this season have come by multiple runs, and all three of Milwaukee’s losses have as well.

Chicago White Sox -1.5 (+115)
The White Sox should bounce back from their tough loss to the Mariners on Wednesday. They won the first two games of their series against Seattle by a combined score of 16-4, so I’m not too worried. The Royals will start Brad Keller here, who made it just 1 and 1/3 innings into his first start of 2021 before getting pulled after giving up nine hits and six earned runs. He probably won’t be that bad here, but things aren’t going to be too much easier against a talented Chicago lineup. The White Sox will start Lance Lynn, who had a 3.32 ERA for the Rangers last year and gave up no earned runs in his first 2021 outings, so I think it’s safe to say they’ve got a pretty big edge on the mound. Getting plus-money here is nice value.
