A full 15-game schedule is on the docket for Sunday as the week in Major League Baseball comes to a close. It has a little bit of everything, complete with a London special between the Cubs and Cardinals and Sunday Night Baseball between the Astros and Dodgers (both showdowns on ESPN). Other highlights include Mets vs Phillies, Rangers vs Yankees and Braves vs Reds.
Below is my mega parlay, and also be sure to check out all of our MLB picks.

Phillies -1.5 over Mets (+115)
This is the rubber match of a 3-game series between National League East rivals and Philadelphia has to feel good about its chances based on the pitching matchup. Zack Wheeler is going for the Phillies and he is 6-4 with a 3.48 ERA. Philly has won each of Wheeler’s last 3 starts, during which he has allowed only 1 earned run in 19.1 innings. New York is countering with Carlos Carrasco, who is 2-3 and saddled with a 6.55 ERA and 1.55 WHIP. The 36-year-old righty owns a 7.82 ERA in June, during which the Mets have lost all 3 of his outings. I like the Phillies to take care of business at home and I think they will do so by multiple runs.
Marlins -1.5 over Pirates (+125)
Eury Perez is toeing the rubber for Miami on Sunday and that is good news for the home team. The 20-year-old has been incredible since being called up in mid-May to make his major-league debut. He is 4-1 with a 1.54 ERA and 1.00 WHIP with 45 strikeouts and 14 walks in 41.0 innings. Perez has not allowed a single run in 4 of his last 5 starts and he isn’t the only Marlin making noise. Luis Arraez is batting .401 and Jorge Soler has hit 21 home runs to pave the offensive way in what has been a surprisingly stellar season for Miami. I don’t think the Fish will have any trouble victimizing Pittsburgh right-hander Johan Oviedo (3-7, 4.30 ERA, 1.42 WHIP).

Astros ML over Dodgers (+116)
The Astros lost the first 2 games of this series, but it’s not like they were completely outclassed in Los Angeles on Friday and Saturday. Houston dropped the opener 3-2 and then fell 8-7 on Saturday. The visitors should have a good chance to get over the hump in the finale, as Hunter Brown (6-4, 3.78 ERA, 90 strikeouts in 81.0 innings) is toeing the rubber. That’s not to say it will be easy, because the Dodgers are sending Tony Gonsolin to the mound. Gonsolin has been great for the most part again this season, but he is coming off his worst start by far of the 2023 campaign. The righty surrendered 7 runs on 6 hits and 3 walks in 5.2 innings of work during a 7-3 loss to San Francisco last weekend. This is a nice opportunity for Houston to pull off a minor upset.
