Arizona Diamondbacks -1.5 (-130) over Detroit Tigers
To start off our mega parlay, we’re going with the Diamondbacks on the run line. For starters, we have a massive advantage on the mound in this one. After all, Zac Gallen will get the ball for the NL West-leading Diamondbacks and he should have no trouble shutting down a Tigers offense that is one of the worst in the league in most statistical categories, including batting average, OBP, SLG and OPS. With a 2.75 ERA and 10 quality starts this season, Gallen is one of the best pitchers in baseball and should prove it once again at Comerica Park. Winners of 8 of their last 10 games, the Diamondbacks should provide plenty of run support for Gallen against Tigers starter Joey Wentz (7.49 ERA, bottom 5 percentile in xERA, xSLG and xBA). Expect a lopsided result on Sunday.

Tampa Bay Rays -1.5 (+100) over Texas Rangers
For the second leg of this parlay, I’ll be backing the Rays on the run line. At this point, baseball bettors know what they’re getting from Tampa Bay on a consistent basis: winning. The Rays have come down to earth a bit since their torrid start, but this team is still 47-20 on the season, good for an 114-win pace in 2023. And while this Texas Rangers team has nearly been as impressive, racing out to a 41-22 record and leading the AL West by 5.5 games, the Rays are at home and have their ace on the mound in this one.
Shane McClanahan is currently the AL Cy Young favorite, and for good reason. With a 2.02 ERA and just 14 earned runs allowed over his last 10 outings, the left-hander should dominate this Texas lineup on Sunday. The series is split, with both wins coming in convincing fashion, so I expect that to continue at the Trop.

Cincinnati Reds ML (+125) over St. Louis Cardinals
To close out our mega parlay, we’re going with the Cincinnati Reds on the money line. This is purely a value play given the state of these teams at the moment. While the results haven’t always been there this season, the Reds have shown signs of late recently, including a couple of terrific comeback victories to win a series over the Dodgers this week. Hunter Greene has also been outstanding on the road in 2023, allowing just 8 runs over his last 5 outings away from Cincinnati. The hard-throwing righty should keep dominating in this one, having surrendered just 2 hits in his last 12 innings pitched.
On the other side, the Reds offense has been invigorated since the insertion of rookie Elly De La Cruz, and all signs point to that continuing against Adam Wainwright (5.97 ERA), who surrendered 5 runs against Cincinnati back on May 23. At this price, it’s hard to pass up backing the Reds as an underdog against a Cardinals team that has done nothing but disappoint all season long.
