Saturday’s Major League Baseball slate is fuller than full, as a doubleheader featuring the Angels and Mariners gives us 16 games in total. Eleven of those contests are in the afternoon, starting with the Braves and Cubs at 2:20 pm ET. As for the night schedule, both the Dodgers and the Red Sox will be televised regionally on FOX.
Here is our three-team mega parlay.
Yankees ML (+105)
Rays -1.5 (+110)
Mets -1.5 (+115)
Parlay odds: +826
For this parlay we are going with one underdog on the money line and two favorites on the run line. Let’s break down each of the three legs one by one.
Yankees ML over Blue Jays (+105)
With the Yankees maintaining the best record in baseball, seeing them as underdogs is rather surprising. While it is still just even money, they are simply too complete of a team to be doubted. They may be on the road against a divisional opponent, but both their hitting and pitching have proved to be matchup-proof. The Blue Jays are still favored in this game due to being at home with Alek Manoah on the mound. While he certainly gives them their best chance to win, he already lost to the Yankees a little over a month ago. That 9-1 setback was a game with the same pitching matchup; New York will be starting Jameson Taillon on Saturday. This price is a bit disrespectful for a pitcher who nearly had a perfect game against Mike Trout and the Angels earlier this month. Not only is he 7-1 on the year, but two of those wins have also come against Toronto in back-to-back starts.

Rays -1.5 over Orioles (+110)
There are going to be times in which there is value in Baltimore nearly always being an underdog, but today is not one of them. That is primarily due to Kyle Bradish getting the start. The Orioles’ starting rotation is easily the weakest point of their team and Bradish is the one of the key reasons for that. The youngster has had to step up this season with ace John Means unavailable, but he is simply too inexperienced to be ready for this spot. For Tampa Bay, Jeffrey Springs has moved into the starting rotation and will be getting another one on Saturday. He has been great since making the transition, not allowing a single run in either of his last two starts and in five of his last eight starts. Although his 1.45 ERA is still skewed from his relief appearances, it is still impressively low.

Mets -1.5 over Marlins (+115)
Miami is a team that is known for its starting rotation and relies on it for its wins. That means when injuries arise for the Marlins’ pitching staff, their stock greatly decreases. They nearly had to scratch Pablo Lopez from last night’s start, and Jesus Luzardo was transferred from the 10-day to 60-day injured list. Their rotation issues have Braxton Garrett on the mound for another start. It’s just his third of the season, and it’s not a friendly matchup. The Mets are the highest-scoring team in the league and Garrett didn’t look good against the Giants, who got 4 runs off of him in just 3.1 innings. The inability to pitch deep into games is a huge concern for Miami because its bottom-10 bullpen ERA. For the Mets, Taijuan Walker was great in his last start, which came in primetime on Sunday Night Baseball. After allowing just a single run in the first inning, he went on to strike out 10 Angels on the way to another win.
