The 2021 MLB season kicked off more than two months ago now, and the action has been jam-packed. Why not celebrate the weekend by going for a big payday on Saturday? That’s right, we’re back with another MLB mega parlay, this time a three-teamer with a payout north of 17/1, and we’re counting on Cleveland to win big.
We’re going big and bold, so let’s not waste any more time. We’re diving in, but don’t forget to check out our picks for the side and total on every MLB game, with our team of experts in red-hot form.
Oakland Athletics -1.5 (+185)
Cleveland Indians -1.5 (+120)
San Francisco Giants -1.5 (+180)
Parlay odds: +1756
Let’s break down each of the three legs one by one.
Oakland Athletics -1.5 (+185)
Oakland is absolutely on fire, and there’s no reason to stop backing them. They’ve won 13 of their past 15 games, with many of those victories coming in lopsided fashion. In fact, 12 of those 13 wins have come by multiple runs, which is why getting +180 on the -1.5 is so attractive. They aren’t winning many squeakers. The offense has been incredibly consistent, and they’ll start Chris Bassitt today.
Bassitt has been rock solid, allowing more than two runs only twice in his past 12 starts. He enters with a 1.04 WHIP. The Yankees, on the other hand, have been up and down, and that might be putting it kindly. They’re just 7-12 in their last 19 games. Oddsmakers are giving them way too much respect, and Oakland might be the hottest team in baseball. Nearly 2/1 is a steal.

Cleveland Indians -1.5 (+120)
The Pirates won the first game of this series, but I was more impressed by how Cleveland’s offense kept it rolling. The Indians are regarded as a light-hitting team, but they certainly haven’t looked like it recently. Cleveland has actually scored at least seven runs in four straight games. They’ve had several double-digit outbursts in recent weeks.
Pittsburgh put up 11 on Friday, but I don’t see that happening again. The Pirates are still dead-last in MLB in OPS, by a healthy margin. Cleveland also has a big edge on the mound with Cal Quantrill going up against Wil Crowe. Quantrill has been dependable for Cleveland with a 3.11 ERA in 37 and 2/3 innings, while Crowe has been a disaster. In nine appearances and eight starts, he has a 6.75 ERA and 1.61 WHIP.

San Francisco Giants -1.5 (+180)
To wrap up this mega parlay and hopefully bring us home, we’ve got the Giants. San Francisco has been on a roll, winning five straight games. They’ve scored at least five runs in each of those games, and at least nine in three of their past four. That’s the kind of offensive upside we’re looking for when backing a team on the run line. Nobody expected anything from the Giants entering the season, and oddsmakers continue to give them no credit.
Despite the fact that they rank fifth in the league in OPS. It’s no longer a small sample size, and you can’t simply write off this 45-25 start as a fluke. Perhaps most importantly, the Giants are 23-9 at home. The Phillies, on the other hand, are a completely different team on the road, as they’re just 12-22 in games played away from home this season. Philly starter Aaron Nola has a 2.49 ERA at home, but that balloons to 4.99 on the highway.
