The Major League Baseball season has started with a bang as the new rules have created more excitement and made the game much quicker. With a full slate taking place on Saturday, I have looked through today’s MLB games and found 3 picks that combine for a +978 payout at FanDuel Sportsbook.

Minnesota Twins ML (+120) over New York Yankees
To start our mega parlay, we’re going to be backing the Twins on the money line. Minnesota has typically been a team that flounders against the Yankees, but this series has been a different story thus far. The Twins jumped all over New York in the opener on Thursday and followed that up with a comeback win on Friday to take control of the series and win their fourth straight game. Minnesota is sitting at the top of the AL Central and doesn’t look to be slowing down anytime soon. Tyler Mahle gets the ball today and his xERA of 2.27 speaks to his quality over his first couple of starts. On the other side, Minnesota should be able to have success against Domingo German so I’ll back Minnesota to steal another game as an underdog in the Bronx.

Toronto Blue Jays ML over Tampa Bay Rays (-115)
For the second leg of our mega parlay, we’re going with the Blue Jays on the money line. The Blue Jays finally ended the Rays’ 13-game win streak on Friday, and that momentum should carry over into Saturday’s contest. It starts with Toronto starter Yusei Kikuchi, who developed a new go-to pitch in the offseason, which led to Kikuchi having the lowest ERA and the most strikeouts of any pitcher in spring training. Kikuchi got off to a great start against the Royals before struggling against the Angels in his latest outing. Given that the Blue Jays are up against Calvin Faucher (xERA of 11.89), Kikuchi should have plenty of run support and that should be enough to give Toronto its second straight win over the division rival Rays on Saturday.
Oakland Athletics ML (+162) over New York Mets
For the final leg in our mega parlay, we’re going with the Oakland A’s on the money line over the New York Mets. Oakland is one of the worst teams in baseball and it showed in a blowout loss to New York on Friday. However, the A’s will get the pleasure of facing Carlos Carrasco on Saturday. Carrasco continues to be a disaster on the hill for New York, as the right-hander holds an era of 11.42 and an xERA of 10.11 over his first 2 stars. It’s not like these outings have come against offensive juggernauts either, with the veteran having struggled mightily against the lowly Marlins and the Brewers. Carrasco is in the bottom 10 percentile in xERA, xSLG, strikeout rate and barrel rate among qualified starters this season. So while the A’s offense isn’t great, they should feast on one of the worst pitchers in 2023 thus far.
