Tampa Bay Rays -1.5 (+118) over Chicago White Sox
To start off I’m going to be backing the the Rays on the run line. These teams are on complete opposite ends of the spectrum at the moment, and it’s reflected in the results. Tampa Bay is undefeated against the White Sox this season over their first 5 meetings, much like the Rays have been doing to the entirety of Major League Baseball. Now, they’ll get the pleasure of taking on Lance Lynn, who holds an ERA of 7.51 and has allowed at least 4 earned runs in 3 of his last 4 outings this season. Lynn’s xERA, xWOBA, xSLG, xBA and hard hit rate are all within the bottom 20 percentile among qualified pitchers, so the Rays offense should tee off on the veteran right-hander. Tampa Bay will probably keep rolling in this matchup.

Atlanta Braves -1.5 (+108) over New York Mets
Atlanta has clearly established itself as one of the best teams in baseball, and its mastery of the Mets continued with a 4-0 win on Friday at Citi Field. Now the Braves will send Spencer Strider to the mound and he is currently the NL Cy Young favorite and one of the best pitchers in baseball. With an ERA of 1.80 ERA and terrific advanced metrics across the board, Strider should have a clear edge against a New York lineup that has only tallied 10 runs across its last 4 home games — 3 of which came against the lowly Nationals. The Braves’ lineup should handle their business against Tylor Megill (6.49 ERA), so I’m expecting another convincing win for Atlanta on Saturday.

Los Angeles Dodgers -1.5 over St. Louis Cardinals (+134)
For the final leg in this mega parlay I’m going with the Dodgers on the run line. Los Angeles has started playing much better baseball lately after a rough start to the season, and it’s primarily due to their offense finally starting to show signs of life. The Cardinals are in a bit of disarray right now, with multiple reports reports of a dysfunctional locker room and plenty of obvious struggles on the diamond. This poor run of form carried over into the series opener on Friday, and it’s hard to back the Cardinals to get back on track on Saturday.
Things will get tougher for St. Louis with Clayton Kershaw on the hill, as he is looking like the Dodgers ace of old. The left-hander is carrying a 2.32 ERA and 0.87 WHIP, as he will likely remain dependable night in and night out — especially at Dodger Stadium. Los Angeles should get another strong start from the veteran southpaw, and I would expect their bats to generate at least a few runs against Jordan Montgomery and this shaky Cardinals bullpen.
