The 2024 Major League Baseball season continues with a full 15-game slate on Saturday. It features a couple of regionally televised contests on FOX – Mets at Rays and Mariners at Astros. Also on the schedule are Brewers vs Cubs, Giants vs Phillies and Braves vs Dodgers.

Below is my mega parlay for Saturday; also be sure to check out all of our MLB picks.

Orioles -1.5 (+130)

Mariners ML (+126)

Dodgers -1.5 (+120)

MLB parlay odds: +1044

For this parlay I am going with 2 favorites on the run line and 1 underdog on the money line. Let’s break down each of the 3 legs.

Baltimore Orioles -1.5 over Cincinnati Reds (+130)

John Means is back from an elbow injury and will make his first big-league start of the season when the Orioles visit the Reds. Means was dominant in his final outing with Triple-A Norfolk this past Sunday, working 7.0 innings of shutout baseball while striking out 8 batters to go along with only 1 hit and 1 walk. Just as encouraging is that Means threw 95 pitches, so any concerns about his elbow are clearly a thing of the past. He now joins a Baltimore club that is living up to lofty expectations with a 21-11 record. Cincinnati has slumped to .500 (16-16) due to a 3-game losing streak and setbacks in 6 of its last 8 contests. The series opener went to the O’s 3-0 on Friday night and I expect to see something similar on Saturday.

Seattle Mariners ML over Houston Astros (+126)

When you can get Logan Gilbert as an underdog against an opponent that is 12-20, it’s an opportunity that should be taken. That is the situation today in Houston, where Gilbert will toe the rubber with a 2-1 record, 2.03 ERA and 0.80 WHIP through 6 outings. In his last 4 starts the Seattle right-hander has surrendered just 4 runs in 27.1 innings of work. He has logged more than 6.0 innings of work in 5 of his 6 appearances. The Astros have won 2 in a row following Friday’s 5-3 victory, but they are still a disappointing 8 games over .500. Framber Valdez has a start under his belt since returning from a 3-week injury absence, but there could still be some signs of rust. Give me the Mariners at plus money.

Los Angeles Dodgers -1.5 over Atlanta Braves (+120)

The first game of this series between National League powerhouses lived up to the billing, as the Dodgers picked up a 4-3 victory in 11 innings. Game 2 on Saturday night is likely to go in the home team’s favor once again, but I doubt it will be so competitive. Los Angeles is sending ace Tyler Glasnow to the mound, while Atlanta is countering with fifth starter Bryce Elder. Following his late-season meltdown in 2023, Elder only finds himself in the rotation this year due to Spencer Strider’s injury. The right-hander did some incredible damage control to make his first 2 stars successful, but that probably isn’t going to work against a lineup that boasts guys like Shohei Ohtani, Freddie Freeman and Mookie Betts. Meanwhile, Glasnow is 5-1 with a 2.72 ERA and 0.93 WHIP. The Dodgers have won 5 of his 7 starts by multiple runs.
