The MLB playoff races are heating up as we’ve hit September. With that comes another slate of baseball from coast to coast on Saturday. And what better way to celebrate than by going for a big payday? That’s right, we’re back with another MLB mega parlay with a potential payout of over 9/1 at FanDuel Sportsbook.
Let’s get into our mega parlay for Saturday.

Let’s break down each of the legs one by one.
New York Mets alternate run line -2.5 (-110) over Washington Nationals
To start off this mega parlay, we’re going with the Mets on an alternate run line. This is about as lopsided a pitching matchup as you’ll see all season. New York should continue its good momentum this week with Max Scherzer on the hill. Scherzer continues to be one of baseball’s best starters in 2022. He’s already experienced success against the Nationals and I see no reason why Scherzer wouldn’t continue to thrive.
Scherzer will be opposed by Patrick Corbin, who continues to be one of baseball’s worst starting pitchers. Corbin holds a 5.86 ERA, 1.76 WHIP and one of the worst statistical profiles in the game. The left-hander’s advanced stats are brutal, as he ranks 5th percentile or worse in xERA, xBA, xSLG, average exit velocity and so on. It gets worse on the road, as Corbin has posted an 8.83 ERA, .379 OBA and 2.11 WHIP in 53 IP away from home this season. The Mets should dominate this game from the opening frame. Back New York to win big.
Chicago White Sox -1.5 (+152) over Minnesota Twins
For the second leg of our mega parlay, we’re going with the White Sox on the run line. Chicago is desperate for wins and will send its ace to the mound to get the job done. Dylan Cease is 12-6 in 26 starts this season with a 2.27 ERA and a 1.12 WHIP. He’s had success against this lineup, as he most recently held the Twins to no earned runs in 7 innings of 1-hit ball. The bigger question is whether Cease will get run support or not. However, Chicago might’ve finally found its offense. The White Sox have ranked around the top 10 in team batting average, OBP and OPS over the last 15 days, a far cry from their earlier inconsistency.
The same can’t be said of the Twins. Minnesota is struggling mightily at the plate, and the Twins could struggle to provide support for Tyler Mahle, who hasn’t pitched in nearly a month. This is a game Chicago has to have and I feel comfortable backing them on the run line.

Atlanta Braves -1.5 (+110) over Miami Marlins
For the final leg in this mega parlay, we’re going with the Braves on the run line. Atlanta has been scorching hot over the last 2 months, and that shouldn’t change today. Atlanta has already dominated the Marlins throughout the year, winning each of the last 5 meetings prior to this series. Braves starter Jake Odorizzi hasn’t been perfect since joining the team, but he wasn’t expected to be on the level of Max Fried either. More often than not, Odorizzi has been solid enough. The righty has allowed 2 or fewer earned runs in 4 of his 5 starts with Atlanta, including against the likes of the Mets and Cardinals. This Marlins lineup presents no such challenge compared to those teams.
The veteran Odorizzi will be opposed by Marlins rookie Edward Cabrera. The young flamethrower has a bright future ahead of him, but Cabrera has struggled when facing upper-tier lineups. Most recently, Cabrera surrendered 6 runs in a loss to the Dodgers, and allowed 5 earned runs in just 3.1 innings of work against the Astros earlier this season. It’s hard to pass up the Braves run line at plus money, especially against an awful Marlins lineup.
