The Atlanta Braves and Los Angeles will add another chapter to their rivalry – which includes two straight NLCS showdowns and Freddie Freeman switching teams – when they contest game 2 of a 3-game set on Tuesday night. Here is a look at the best same game parlay option for Braves-Dodgers, and also be sure to check out our full game preview for picks on the side and total when it becomes available.
Dodgers ML (-152)
Trea Turner to record an RBI (+170)
Justin Turner to record a hit (-220)
Travis d’Arnaud to record a hit (-160)
Parlay odds: +844
Part of the value in same game parlays, of course, is that all of its components can be correlated if you so choose. That is some of the plan here, as Justin Turner recording a hit and Trea Turner driving in a run would obviously work well with a Los Angeles win. At the same time, plays that aren’t correlated drive up the overall payout of the parlay. That is the case with backing Travis d’Arnaud to get a base knock, but even if he does there is obviously no reason why the Dodgers can’t take care of business. Let’s break down each of the four legs one by one.
Los Angeles Dodgers ML (-152)
The defending World Series champions are not off to a good start in 2022. With Ronald Acuna Jr. still on the disabled list, the bats have been quiet for the most part in the first couple of weeks. Atlanta is 5-7, whereas Los Angeles is living up to expectations to the tune of an 8-2 record. The pitching matchup suggests that nothing will change on Tuesday. Max Fried is the Braves’ ace, but he is 0-2 and saddled with a 5.73 ERA through 2 starts. The Dodgers are countering with Walker Buehler, who is 1-0 with a 3.38 ERA. Count on LA once again taking care of business in front of the home crowd following Monday’s 7-4 series-opening win.

Trea Turner to record an RBI (+170)
Trea Turner drove in 3 runs on Monday. The star shortstop has delivered at least 1 RBI in 7 of 10 games during the 2022 campaign, including 5 in the last 3 games. He has driven in at least 1 run in 6 of the last 7 outings. Turner is 10-for-26 (.385) lifetime against Fried with a homer and a double. Getting him at this far into plus money to have an RBI on Tuesday is a steal.
Justin Turner to record a hit (-220)
We are going with a Turner-Turner combination of success on Tuesday. And why not? In addition to Trea’s success at Fried’s success, Justin is 8-for-19 (.421) lifetime against the southpaw. That includes 2 home runs and a double. The veteran third baseman has hit safely in 7 of 10 games this season and he has 3 hits in the last 2.
Travis d’Arnaud to record a hit (-160)
There was not a whole lot to cheer about for the visitors during Monday’s opener, but d’Arnaud at least managed to record 2 hits and an RBI. The veteran catcher has hit safely in 5 of 8 contests so far this year, including 3 multi-hit performances. He is 5-for-10 lifetime against Buehler with a double and 3 walks. Clearly he sees the ball a lot better against Buehler than most batters do.
