A huge Saturday slate of Major League Baseball action features a doubleheader on FS1. After the Houston Astros host the Detroit Tigers, the St. Louis Cardinals will pay a visit to the San Francisco Giants. Here is a look at the best same game parlay option for Cardinals-Giants and also be sure to check out our full game preview for picks on the side and total.

San Francisco Giants -2.5 (+260)

Brandon Crawford to record an RBI (+185)

Parlay odds: +646

Part of the value in same game parlays, of course, is that all of its components can be correlated if you so choose. That is the plan here, as Brandon Crawford driving in at least one run would obviously work well with a San Francisco win and cover. Let’s break down each of the two legs one by one.

San Francisco Giants -2.5 (+260)

The bad news for the Giants is that they have not been playing great of late. On the bright side, that means there is buy-low value on them at the moment. They are favorites on the money line this evening, but +260 odds on the alternate -2.5 run line is intriguing. That’s because there is some good news for San Francisco. The team’s best pitcher, Logan Webb, will be taking the mound. Webb is 3-1 on the year and has pitched at least 6.0 innings in 4 of his 5 starts. He even went 8.0 innings in a 2-1 win over the National League West rival Padres. Webb should get more than 2 runs of support on Saturday, too. Cardinals starter Steven Matz has faced the Royals, Reds and Pirates in 3 of his 5 appearances. When he had to go up against a formidable lineup in the form of the Mets, he lasted just 4.0 innings while giving up 4 runs.

Brandon Crawford to record an RBI (+185)

Brandon Crawford does not have an extensive history against Matz, but 3 hits in 6 at-bats is encouraging. The 35-year-old shortstop is in fine form too. He has hit safely in 3 straight games (including a multi-hit performance on Friday) and in 6 of the last 8. Crawford has 10 RBIs on the season and if San Francisco is going to win by at least 3 runs, he is probably going to have to drive in at least 1 more run on Saturday. These plays correlate nicely and have a very realistic chance of cashing.
