After a 2-0 day on Saturday, I’m ready to attack Game 2 of the ALDS series between the Tigers and Guardians. Below are my best MLB player prop bets for the Divisional Series Game 2 on Monday. You can also find out our experts’ MLB picks for today’s 2 big matchups as well as EVERY game throughout the MLB postseason.

Tarik Skubal (Tigers) over 4.5 hits allowed (-133)

My Detroit Tigers under 3.5 runs prop was no fun to back on Saturday, until the Tigers got shutout. I’m turning to fading their starting pitcher on Monday, Tarik Skubal. Yes, triple crown winner Tarik Skubal. The Tigers are going to live or die with Skubal on the mound. His outs line is set at 17.5 with vig on the over. That’s a generous line in itself. But with the long leash, I’m willing to bet the Cleveland Guardians, a division rival, can muster 5 hits off him — especially with his 95% percentile walk rate. Much of this Guardians projected lineup isn’t familiar with Skubal. Josh Naylor and Jose Ramirez are the only 2 batters with at least 9 plate appearances against the perennial CY Young winner. Still, it’s a Guardians team that ranked in the league’s top half in hitting statistics against left-handed pitching since the All-Star break. With Skubal expected to pitch deep into this game, we should see Cleveland get at least 5 hits against him.
