The Major League Baseball week continues with a full 15-game slate on Tuesday. Needless to say, there are plenty of options as we try to come up with some successful YRFI/NRFI bets. We have won 22 of our last 28 YRFI/NRFI bets here at Pickswise, so let’s keep the momentum going!

This market has become extremely popular in baseball betting. After all, you don’t have to sit around for 3 hours (or maybe a lot less now that games are not as long on average!) to see if your wager hits; the satisfaction (or in some cases disappointment) is immediate. It all comes down to the first inning.

Here are my best YRFI/NRFI bets for Tuesday, and also be sure to check out all of our MLB picks.

All of today’s biggest games are available to bet with BetMGM, the premier destination for online sports betting. New customers can earn themselves a $1,000 deposit bonus by signing up right now! Click here to lock in this great sign-up offer.

Cleveland Guardians vs Chicago White Sox: YRFI (-105)

Lance Lynn is toeing the rubber for Chicago on Tuesday, so I wouldn’t be surprised if at least 1 run is put on the board right away in the top of the first inning. The right-hander is 1-5 with a laughable 7.54 ERA, including an 8.49 ERA through 2 May starts. Now he faces a Guardians team that has seen him a million times in this AL Central rivalry. Leadoff batter Steven Kwan has homered off Lynn, Jose Ramirez is batting .313 with 4 homers against him and Amed Rosario is batting .292 with a pair of doubles.

Cleveland is countering with Shane Bieber, who is in good but not exactly dominant form. Most importantly, the White Sox are extremely familiar with him and the guys at the top of the lineup have enjoyed some success at his expense. Tim Anderson is hitting .270, Andrew Benintendi is 9-for-19 with a homer and 4 doubles and Yoan Moncada has 2 homers, 2 doubles and 4 walks. It’s hard to see both Bieber and Giolito escaping the first inning unscathed.

Minnesota Twins vs Los Angeles Dodgers: NRFI (-120)

Bailey Ober is taking the mount for Minnesota, which is a big reason why I’m not going with the over in the first-inning runs market. San Diego got him for a 1 in his last start, but Ober had previously pitched 2 straight first innings without a run allowed. More impressive is his overall body of work this season. The right-hander is 2-0 with a 1.85 ERA and 0.90 WHIP. Additionally, only 1 batter in the Dodgers’ lineup has ever faced him and nobody has ever gotten a hit (JD Martinez is 0-for-4).

Clayton Kershaw is going for Los Angeles. That isn’t an automatic clean sheet in the opening frame of play…but it’s close. The veteran lefty is 6-2 with a 2.36 ERA and 0.95 WHIP to go along with 41 strikeouts and only 5 walks. His ERA over his past 6 starts is 1.73 and he has surrendered a first-inning run just once in his last 5 appearances.
