The New York Yankees and St. Louis Cardinals got rained out on Friday, so they will play a double-header on Saturday. Game 1 begins at 2:15 pm ET and will be televised on FS1.

I cashed a +1233 MLB mega parlay yesterday, so let’s keep the momentum going! Here is my Same Game Parlay for this showdown between the Yankees and Cardinals, and also be sure to check out all of our MLB picks.

Yankees ML (+108)

Over 9 (-115)

Anthony Rizzo to record an RBI (+175)

Parlay odds: +500

Part of the value in same game parlays, of course, is that all of its components can be correlated if you so choose. That is the entire plan here, as Anthony Rizzo driving in a run would obviously work well with both a Yankees victory and the over. Let’s break down each of the 3 legs.

Yankees ML (+108)

Friday’s postponement injected some chaos into the pitching matchups for this series. The Yankees elected to push Gerrit Cole back to Sunday and will start Luis Severino in this contest before going with a bullpen game for today’s finale. New York is coming off back-to-back performances with double-digit runs, albeit against the lowly Oakland Athletics. That won’t be as easy to do against Jack Flaherty of the Cardinals, but nonetheless the Bronx Bombers have to be feeling good about themselves – even with Aaron Judge still out of the lineup. It should also be noted that Flaherty is far from consistent, having given up 6 runs in each of his last 2 appearances. Severino is trending in the opposite direction, so the Yankees should win this one.

Over 9 (-115)

Neither starter is trustworthy, and thanks to Friday’s rainout, the bullpens are rested. That is good news for the relievers, but it also means the managers will be quick to pull the plug on their starters. Game 1 of this twin bill may not be Severino vs Flaherty for too long. Moreover, the Yankees’ lineup has started to show some signs of life thanks in part to Giancarlo Stanton getting his act together. Stanton has hit safely in 4 of the last 5 games and has driven in 6 runs over the past 4.

Anthony Rizzo to record an RBI (+175)

Rizzo absolutely owns Flaherty. There is a ton of familiarity there stemming from their time as National League Central rivals when Rizzo was on the Cubs, and to say that the advantage has been with the hitter would be an understatement. Rizzo is 9-for-19 (.474) lifetime against Flaherty with 3 home runs and a double. The veteran first baseman has hit safely in 5 of the last 7 contests and. That doesn‘t even include a 3-hit barrage on June 20.
