The 2022 MLB season continues on Saturday, and we have another exciting slate of games to watch. One of the matchups features the New York Yankees and Boston Red Sox, starting at 7:10 pm ET on FOX. The Yankees will be looking to build on a couple of wins, while the Red Sox hope to bounce back against their fierce rivals.
What better way to celebrate this matchup than by betting a same game parlay? We have come up with a 2-leg parlay, which would pay out at over 4/1 odds with FanDuel Sportsbook. Let’s take a look at each of the legs.
Boston Red Sox ML (+136)

New York Yankees vs Boston Red Sox: Start time and how to watch
The Yankees and Red Sox continue their series with a start time of 7:10 pm ET on Saturday. The game is airing exclusively on FOX. Let’s get into our same game parlay for this AL East matchup.
Red Sox ML (+136)
To start off this same game parlay, we have the Red Sox on the money line. Boston’s offense has consistently found ways to produce this season, and that has carried over into this series. However, the Red Sox have not been able to get past their rivals to this point. That should change today, as the hosts will get to face Jordan Montgomery, a starter who they have attacked in the past. Boston is currently the 4th-best lineup in the MLB against left-handed pitching, and they’re getting a bit of a discount at home thanks to the uncertain injury news of Rafael Devers. Even if Devers is unable to suit up, Xander Bogaerts, JD Martinez and Trevor Story should be in good position to produce at the plate.
Boston starter Kutter Crawford has been improving as the season has gone on. In fact, the young right-hander is coming off his best effort of the campaign, an 8-strikeout performance in 5.1 scoreless innings against Tampa Bay. While the Yankees lineup is rolling, Crawford and the Red Sox are a little undervalued at home. At this price, I don’t mind taking a shot on a desperate Boston side.

Aaron Judge to record 2+ total bases (-125)
Pairing together results that may not correlate always increases your odds in a same game parlay. However, I don’t think that Aaron Judge having success conflicts with a Red Sox victory. Judge has been on a tear since the 2022 season started, and he continues to march toward his first MVP trophy. The outfielder has 7 hits in his last 9 outings, which is poor by his lofty standards. Judge has yet to record a hit in this series, and this game is where he should break out.
Judge should see success against Crawford, who didn’t fare well in his last appearance against the Yankees. And even if the righty is set down early, New York’s best power bat should see multiple plate appearances against a shaky Red Sox bullpen. At this price, I like backing one of the best hitters in baseball to have another solid day at the dish.
