We’re getting into crunch time for a lot of teams around MLB as there are just over 40 games remaining this season. The Yankees are no exception and they’re beginning to feel the heat. Their hopes of winning the AL East were dead months ago. They are 5.5 games out of the wildcard and their recent play makes the possibility of playoffs look bleak. The Yankees are mathematically still alive and have a heck of an uphill battle to gain ground, especially with having to face the red-hot Braves tonight. If you’re looking to have some action on this game that airs live on TBS tonight, check out our Yankees vs Braves Same Game Parlay below. You can also read our MLB predictions for picks on every game today.

Atlanta Braves -1.5 over New York Yankees (-105)

The Braves and Yankees began this series on Monday in a game in which Atlanta ran up the score with an 11-3 win. That result is a microcosm of the performance of each team lately, with the Braves playing tremendous baseball right now while the Yankees have been trending downward. With Monday’s loss, the Yankees have now lost 4 of their last 5 games, as well as 11 of their last 14 on the road.

It is a different story for the Braves, who have just kept the status quo all season to the tune of an automatic, “ho-hum” best record in baseball. Atlanta is 4-1 in their last 5 games and is 7-1 in their last 8 at home. The Yankees are 3-7 against the spread in their last 10 games, including 2-5 ATS on the road. Unless things change with either team, the Braves have a good chance to win big once again.

Over 11.5 (+130)

The over has been trending for both the Yankees and Braves lately. The total has gone over in 4 out of the Yankees’ last 5 games, as well as in 9 out of the Braves’ last 11 games. In their respective last 10 games, the over is 14-6 in those combined 20 games. On the season, the Yankees’ over/under record on the road combined with the Braves’ home over/under record is 62-49-3.

High totals have been rolling for these teams for different reasons. For the Yankees, it has not been a reason they prefer. They have been giving up runs in bunches which has resulted in more overs. For the Braves, it has been rampant run production. The Yankees have allowed 5.8 runs per game over in their last 10 while the Braves have scored a whopping 8.0 runs per game in their last 10. This pure matchup looks good for another over.

Austin Riley 1+ RBIs (+125)

This Braves lineup is completely loaded. It is difficult to see props for any player on Atlanta and not think that they look appealing. But right now, for any production the Braves muster up, Austin Riley has a good chance to be a part of it. He’s had a great season to the tune of a .281 average with 29 home runs and 76 RBIs with a .858 OPS. But in a more recent stretch, Riley has been on fire.

Since August 9th, Austin Riley is 13-31 with 3 home runs and 8 RBIs while accumulating 25 total bases. He is typically slotted in the 3-hole surrounded by Michael Harris III and Matt Olson among any other combination of dangerous Braves hitters. On Tuesday, Atlanta will face Luis Severino, who has been struggling mightily this year. Severino has pitched in just 14 games and has an 8.06 ERA. Look for more production from Austin Riley tonight.
