We are approaching the home stretch of the 2021 MLB season and we now know more or less where things stand. We’ve got a small slate on Monday, but there are still plenty of opportunities for value. Why not celebrate Labor Day by going for a big payday? That’s right; we’re back with another MLB mega parlay, this time a 3-teamer with a payout north of 12/1, and we’re counting on the Mets to keep up their recent success.
I just cashed this mega parlay on Sunday at 13/1, now let’s make it two days in a row! We’re going big and bold, so let’s not waste any more time. But before we dive in, don’t forget to check out our picks for the side and total on every MLB game, with our team of experts in red-hot form.
Kansas City Royals ML (-105)
New York Mets -1.5 (+130)
Toronto Blue Jays -1.5 (+200)
Parlay odds: +1246
Let’s break down each of the legs one by one.
Kansas City Royals ML (-105) over Baltimore Orioles
The Royals should be decided favorites in this game. Kansas City is coming off a 6-0 shutout victory over the White Sox, and they’ve scored at least 6 runs in 3 straight games. Baltimore will start Zac Lowther, a rookie with 8 and 1/3 innings of big-league experience. He’s made a few relief appearances, but his only other start to date was an abject disaster. Lowther lasted just 2.1 innings, giving up 7 earned runs in a blowout loss to Boston.
He hasn’t pitched in the majors since July 7, and there’s a good chance he gets rocked again. The Royals have also hit considerably better against lefties like Lowther all season. Baltimore is 43-92, they shouldn’t be favored against just about anybody.

New York Mets -1.5 (+130) over Washington Nationals
The Mets came through for us to help cash Sunday’s mega parlay, and they can do it again on Monday. Something has clearly clicked with this team, and they’ve now won 7 of their last 8 games. Their bizarre feud with their own fans seems to have sparked something in New York. They have scored 27 runs in their last 23 innings, and once again get to face a lifeless Nationals team.
Washington has lost 8 of their last 9, and they’ve completely thrown in the towel since the trade deadline. Don’t expect things to get much better here with Patrick Corbin on the mound. Corbin has been one of the worst starters in the big leagues, with a 6.26 ERA through 26 outings. In 8 of his last 9 starts, he’s given up at least 4 earned runs. That’s hard to do. Back the Mets once again.

Toronto Blue Jays -1.5 (+200) over New York Yankees
To wrap up this mega parlay and hopefully bring us home, we’ve got the Blue Jays. Toronto just swept Oakland, scoring at least 8 runs in all 3 victories. That kind of offensive upside is what always makes them appealing on a run line. They’ve got the highest OPS in the league, so getting +200 with this -1.5 feels like a steal. Especially because they have the better pitcher in this matchup in Hyun-Jin Ryu.
Ryu hasn’t been his usual dominant self this season, but I’ll still take him over Jameson Taillon any day. Taillon had a brief and sudden resurgence in July, but he’s been pretty awful outside of that stretch. Over his last 2 starts, he has given up 11 earned runs. The Yankees have cooled off from their hot streak; they are just 2-6 in their last 8 contests.
