It’s the start of a new week in Major League Baseball, and it’s a smaller slate than usual with plenty of teams getting a well-deserved day off. However, there are still 7 games happening around the country and I’ve found 3 MLB parlay picks that come in at over 9/1 with FanDuel Sportsbook. We cashed our MLB parlay yesterday at +1167 odds, so let’s make it 2 in a row! You can also find out our MLB picks for today’s games.
Nationals ML (-108)
Guardians -1.5 (+114)

Washington Nationals ML over St. Louis Cardinals (-108)
This weekend series spills over into the next week as the Nationals and Cardinals finish up a 4-game set tonight. The series has been all offense through 3 games as each game has had double-digit runs. Oddsmakers are expecting that trend to continue tonight since the game total has been set at 9.5 and, well, Miles Mikolas is pitching. Mikolas has been an interesting case study for the last few seasons because his advanced metrics indicate he’s a below-average pitcher. In 2024, Mikolas ranks in the 17th percentile in xBA, 18th percentile in strikeout rate and 32nd percentile in hard-hit rate. Considering the Nationals have scored 23 runs in this series and have Mitchell Parker on the mound, it’s hard not to like the home team in this series finale.
Cleveland Guardians -1.5 over Detroit Tigers (+114)
It was a good weekend for the Guardians, who took 2 out of 3 games from the Giants at Progressive Field. Their next series takes them to Detroit to face the Tigers, who just swept the Reds over the weekend. Tarik Skubal was fantastic yesterday, but today it will be Keider Montero. The Tigers prospect has struggled in his first taste of the show since he’s allowed 11 runs, 16 hits and 4 home runs in 14 innings. He does get a lot of swings and misses, but also allows a lot of free passes. The Guardians lineup is a patient group of hitters that also have been crushing the ball recently as they rank top 10 in batting average, OPS and wRC+ in the last 7 days. If Gavin Williams can shake off his rough season debut, the Guardians should be able to pile on the runs against Montero and the Tigers.

Colorado Rockies ML over Cincinnati Reds (+144)
The Reds were just swept at home by the Tigers, which made people quickly forget that they had just swept the Yankees in the series before. The lineup went cold and the bullpen failed them when they needed it most. However, the Reds get the opportunity to bounce back as they welcome the Rockies to town. With that said, tonight’s game might not be as easy as they think. Ryan Feltner will get the start for the Rockies, and it’s easy to write off the Rockies starter with his 5.60 ERA and 1.46 WHIP, but there’s a lot more to him. His xERA is just 4.14, which is a massive difference, and he’s been a completely different pitcher on the road. No surprise there, but Feltner pitches better when he’s not in Colorado. In fact, he’s allowed just 2 earned runs, 12 hits and 0 home runs in his last 3 starts on the road. Between Feltner pitching on the road and the scrappy Colorado lineup, I’m willing to take a shot on the Rockies to wrap up our MLB parlay picks.
