The MLB season rolls on today with 12 games on the docket as a number of teams prepare for a new week of baseball. Still, with most of the league in action on Monday, there is plenty to attack and craft an MLB mega parlay. Let’s dive into today’s MLB parlay picks, with games getting underway with the Padres taking on the Braves at 12:20 pm ET and concluding with the Dodgers facing off against the Diamondbacks at 10:10 pm ET.

Orioles vs Cardinals over 8 (-102)

Tigers ML (-105)

Guardians -1.5 (+160)

MLB parlay odds: +905

For this MLB parlay, I am going with a bet on the the Tigers’ money line, the Guardians’ run line and a game to go over the total. Let’s break down each of the 3 legs.

Baltimore Orioles vs St. Louis Cardinals Over 8 (-102)

To start off our MLB parlay I’m going with the over between the Baltimore Orioles and St. Louis Cardinals. Dean Kremer gets the ball for Baltimore today, and 6 of the 8 games he started in have soared over this line of 8. However, his 5.24 xERA suggests his numbers should continue to decline, and this is not a favorable matchup for the righty as St. Louis has found a rhythm with the bats of late, posting an incredible 126 wRC+, the 4th best in the league over the last couple of weeks. On the other side, Sonny Gray has fallen off a cliff — surrendering 11 ER in his last 11.0 innings pitched. He has a tall task ahead of him if he wants to turn this trend around considering the Orioles boast a top-5 offense in terms of wRC+ (114) this season. Also because both teams have shaky bullpens, let’s go with the over.

Detroit Tigers ML over Kansas City Royals (-105)

For the second leg in our MLB parlay, I’m going with the Tigers on the money line. Although Tarik Skubal gets most of the attention in the Tigers’ starting rotation, Reese Olson has been extremely effective through his first 8 starts this season — owning a 2.09 ERA while giving up just 1 earned run or less in 6 out of 8 starts. Even though the Tigers don’t give him much run support typically, I believe that changes on Monday as the Tigers go up against Michael Wacha, who owns a 4.71 ERA and 1.37 WHIP across 9 starts. The underlying metrics for Wacha suggest he’s experienced some bad luck to begin the season, but the Tigers put together 4 runs on 9 hits when they last saw him in April. Detroit performs much better against right-handed pitching and boasts a top-5 bullpen in terms of ERA. Let’s take the Tigers on the ML.

Cleveland Guardians -1.5 over New York Mets (+160)

To close it out this MLB parlay I have the Cleveland Guardians on the run line. Ben Lively has been solid for the Guardians thus far, producing a 3.06 ERA in his first 32.1 innings of work. While his underlying metrics don’t necessarily suggest sustained success, Lively has done a good job of keeping his team in the game during his appearances this season. He should see more success on Monday against a somewhat underwhelming Mets offense. On the other side, Tylor Megill has been out with injury but returns to the Mets’ rotation today for this game. I’m concerned that some potential rust from Megill could lead to early scoring chances for Cleveland, so let’s back the Guardians to take a commanding lead early and never look back in this one.
