Another week in Major League Baseball is getting underway on Monday with an 11-game schedule. It includes a showdown on FS1 between the Athletics and Angels while also featuring the start of a popcorn-worthy series between the Astros and Rays.

Below is my mega parlay for Monday, and also be sure to check out all of our MLB picks.

Guardians -1.5 (+105)

Red Sox -1.5 (+145)

Angels -1.5 (-105)

MLB parlay odds: +881

For this parlay we are going with 3 favorties on the run line. Let’s break down each of the 3 legs.

Guardians -1.5 over Rockies (+105)

After another series loss, the Rockies have lost 10 of their last 11 games and have sunk to the basement of the MLB standings. They have scored 3 runs or fewer in 9 of their last 10 outings, which has plummeted them to 24th in the league in average runs per contest. That’s hard to imagine for a team that plays its home games in Colorado. Meanwhile, Cleveland’s Cal Quantrill is coming off the best outing of his season with 6.0 scoreless innings and only 4 hits allowed. Granted that start was against the Tigers, but at this point Colorado isn’t much different from Detroit.

I know I said Colorado’s main issue was their offense, but a close second is their starting pitching. Additionally, Rockies’ starter Austin Gomber has a 12.12 ERA with an 8.63 xERA in 4 starts. The lefty was just rocked by the Pirates for 9 runs and 9 hits in his last outing, which got him chased after just 2.0 innings. There is no reason to think Monday’s game will be competitive.

Red Sox -1.5 over Orioles (+145)

This is a rematch between Boston’s Chris Sale and Baltimore’s Dean Kremer, who faced each other back on April 1. Sale was horrible (7 runs allowed in 3.0 innings), but the Red Sox still prevailed 9-8. The veteran lefty finally pitched better in his most recent start, giving up just 1 run and striking out 11 batters in 6.0 innings of work during a 5-4 win over Minnesota. Kremer has also improved marginally since his struggles against Boston at the beginning of the month, but it’s hard to have confidence in him – especially in this particular matchup. Alex Verdugo is 6-for-16 lifetime against him with 2 home runs and 2 doubles; Rafael Devers is 5-for-13 with 1 homer and 1 double. I expect Sale to get more than enough run support on Monday.

Angels -1.5 over Athletics (-105)

Oakland won on Friday, but took losses on Saturday and Sunday to drop to 4-18 for the season. As bad as things are, they might actually get worse for the A’s — especially with news of the franchise likely moving to Las Vegas seeming pretty certain. Oakland is saddled with a team ERA of 7.97, so it’s hard to see the pitching staff containing the Angels’ powerful lineup. Hunter Renfroe is in fine form to support Shohei Ohtani and Mike Trout. Los Angeles starter Jose Suarez is nothing special, but it shouldn’t matter against Oakland’s lineup and when you assume that he will get plenty of help from the Angels’ bats.
