The week in Major League Baseball continues with a full 15-game slate on Friday. It is headlined by the beginning of a series between the Astros and Braves, marking a rematch of the 2021 World Series. That showdown can be seen on Apple TV, which is also the case for Blue Jays vs Yankees. A busy schedule wraps up with the Mets visiting the Giants at 10:15 pm ET on ESPN+.

Below is my mega parlay for Friday, and also be sure to check out all of our MLB picks

Orioles -1.5 (+115)

Blue Jays ML (+110)

Braves -1.5 (+170)

MLB parlay odds: +1119

For this parlay we are going with 2 picks on the run lines and 1 underdog on the money line. Let’s break down each of the 3 legs.

Orioles -1.5 over Tigers (+115)

The Orioles have been getting hammered by the betting public since this line opened, but there is still value on this number at plus money on the run line. Baltimore is sending Tyler Wells to the mound and he is sporting a solid 3.86 ERA so far this season with an 11-to-1 strikeout-to-walk ratio. He is supported by a bullpen that is 8th in ERA and 5th in xFIP. Wells should get plenty of run support, too, from the Orioles’ lineup – which is filled with a mixture of youth and proven commodities. They rank 1st in the league in pitches per plate appearance, so Detroit’s Michael Lorenzen could be in line for a long day at the office. Lorenzen’s first start if 2023 resulted in 6 earned runs allowed on 8 hits in just 4.0 innings against the Giants. The Tigers’ ‘pen is 24th in ERA and 19th in xFIP. All signs point to a big win for Baltimore.

Blue Jays ML over Yankees (+110)

The Blue Jays have not yet lost so far this year with Yusei Kikuchi on the mound. That’s part his doing and also somewhat thanks to the bats. Kikuchi has allowed only 1 run in 2 of his 3 starts, including against the high-powered Rays. Toronto has scored a whopping 21 runs in his 3 appearances and he may be on course for similar run support on Friday. The Yankees are countering with Domingo German, who has a mediocre 3.86 ERA in 3 outings and has gotten through the 5th inning only once. As for New York’s offense, it is strong in the power department but doesn’tdo much of anything other than bash the ball. This club is 23rd in the league in average (.232) and has struck out 171 times (11th most). Look for these 2 AL East rivals to be tied up in the standings following tonight’s contest.

Braves -1.5 over Astros (+170)

The Braves (14-5) boast the best record in the National League (tied with the Brewers) even though they have played 12 games on the road and just 7 at home. They are back at the friendly confines of Truist Park tonight for the start of this intriguing series against the Astros, who are off to a slow 9-10 start. Bryce Elder may not be the biggest name in Atlanta’s rotation, but he has stepped up in a big way with other arms on the IL in the early stages of the season. Elder is 2-0 with a 1.53 ERA to go along with 17 strikeouts and only 6 walks through 17.2 innings of work across 3 starts. The Braves have won 8 of their last 9, whereas the Astros have not won back-to-back games since April 9-10. I don’t think the visitors will end that drought on Friday.
