The 2022 MLB season continues this weekend, and we have another exciting slate of games on Saturday. One of the matchups features the Cleveland Guardians and Los Angeles Dodgers, starting at 7:15 pm ET on FOX. The Guardians will be looking to take the second game in this series, while the Dodgers are hoping to even the series.
What better way to celebrate this matchup than by betting a same game parlay? We have come up with a 3-leg parlay, which would pay out at over 7/1 odds with FanDuel Sportsbook. Let’s take a look at each of the legs.
Dodgers ML (-240)
Trea Turner to record 2+ hits (+175)
Jose Ramirez to record 2+ total bases (+115)

Cleveland Guardians vs LA Dodgers: Start time and how to watch
The Guardians and Dodgers continue their series with a start time of 7:15 pm ET on Saturday. The game is airing exclusively on FOX. Let’s get into our same game parlay for this interleague matchup.
Dodgers ML (-240)
While the Dodgers have been inconsistent of late, I mainly chalk that up to poor injury luck and the natural ebb and flow of the baseball season. It’s a long campaign and Los Angeles still has one of the best rosters in the majors. For now, they’ll have to bounce back after an extra-innings loss with Julio Urias on the mound today. Despite the fact that he holds an ERA of 2.80, Urias has consistently been unlucky with run support this season. The Dodgers are scoring only about 3 runs per game with him on the mound, and I think Urias is due for a bit of positive regression in that department.
While Cal Quantrill has been solid for the Guardians to this point, his best starts have come at home against the likes of the A’s, Giants and Reds. This Dodgers team that should be pretty desperate after a disappointing stretch, and it’s fair to expect that they finally get some timely hitting and even this series at home.

Trea Turner to record 2+ hits (+175)
Honing in on correlating results is usually helpful when constructing a same game parlay. In this case, I think if the Dodgers offense is to have success, it will involve contributions from Trea Turner. Turner is one of the most consistent hitters in baseball, ranking near the top of the league in hits and batting average. Even as the Dodgers offense has struggled lately, Turner has continued to produce. Currently riding another double-digit hitting streak, the shortstop is a near-lock to register at least 1 hit in his 4 or 5 plate appearances today.
With multiple hits in 4 of his last 11 games, I think we’re getting a fair price at this number. At an implied probability of 36%, I like Turner’s chances to spearhead the LA lineup as the Dodgers offense looks to get back on track.
Jose Ramirez to record 2+ total bases (+115)
As a rule, including legs that may not correlate with each other always increases your odds in a same game parlay. However, I don’t think Jose Ramirez having some success conflicts with a Dodgers win. Despite languishing in Cleveland, Jose Ramirez is still one of the best hitters in baseball. The 3rd baseman is elite at putting the ball in play and continues to be a force at the dish. I expect that to continue today, even against the Dodgers. Ramirez has at least 1 hit in 9 of his last 10 starts, with 16 hits and 2 home runs coming in that span.
This number suggests an implied probability of 46%, but I think that’s selling Ramirez short. Hitting near the top of the order, Ramirez should get at least 4 at-bats in this one. Let’s back the Guardians talisman to record 2+ total bases.
