MLB Boston Red Sox vs Baltimore Orioles same game parlay at (+548 odds) today 8/21 - Christian Arroyo stays hot

Boston Red Sox shortstop Christian Arroyo (39) reacts after hitting a ninth inning two run double against the Boston Red Sox at Oriole Park at Camden Yards.

The showing of Sunday Night Baseball will feature the two bottom teams in the AL East. It’s been a back-and-forth series in Baltimore thus far, but these two squads will leave Baltimore for Williamsport, PA for tonight’s game. The series finale will take place at Muncy Bank Ballpark in Williamsport, as this is the fifth annual Little League Classic. Since the Little League World Series is currently happening, the MLB brought a game to Williamsport in partnership with the LLWS — which has already been an excellent success in the past four years.

However, tonight’s matchup is in danger of not happening due to inclement weather. It is expected to be raining all afternoon in Williamsport with thunderstorms on the way in the evening, so for that reason this same game parlay will purely be player props.

Christian Arroyo 2+ hits (+190)

Dean Kremer over 4.5 strikeouts (+108)

Parlay odds: +548

Christian Arroyo 2+ hits (+190)

Rafael Devers and Xander Bogaerts who??!? Christian Arroyo has been Boston’s hottest hitter since returning from the injured list. The backup second-baseman went down with a groin injury at the beginning of July and when he returned to action, it was Trevor Story’s turn to be placed on the injured list. But since returning on July 30, Arroyo is 29-for-73 (.397) with a .977 OPS. In the two games this series, he is 6-for-10 with 7 total bases. And for the icing on the cake, Arroyo is 1-for-2 with a double in his career against Dean Kremer. The baseball looks like a beachball to him right now, so I’ll back him to have a multi-hit game for the third night in a row.

Don’t miss our MLB mega parlay for today’s action (+954 odds!)

Dean Kremer over 4.5 strikeouts (+108)

I would understand this line if it was in June, but Kremer has been much better in August. The right-hander failed to record 5 strikeouts in 3 of his first 4 starts since being activated off the injured list in June, but he has improved drastically in the last few weeks as he’s racked up 12 strikeouts in his last 2 starts. He started against the Red Sox less than two weeks ago and gave up 4 runs and 6 hits in 5.2 innings, but he also struck out 6 batters. Kyle Bradish had an ERA above 6.00 and a strikeout rate below 20% before his start yesterday and still recorded 6 strikeouts against Boston. At plus odds, this is worth the bet.
